Valley Radio 062 is brought to you by German duo ARIGTO (@arigto) and is an intimate encounter with the space between silence and noise. 

Over the past two years ARIGTO has been providing the scores for several productions as well as releasing multiple EP's and a stunning full length album, each harbouring an immersive world of their own. With their roots in classical education and a natural affinity for storytelling through experimental sound, the duo manages to continuously unite the two into unique sonic landscapes for us to explore.

Valley Radio 062 - ARIGTO

Dublin born, London based artist Clu is as future-facing as they come. His early work on Gobstopper Records won him critical acclaim for its out-of-this-world blend of experimental grime, trance, videogame soundtrack influence and hyper-sad autotune.
Inspired by internet culture, Clu is readying the next step in his creative evolutionary cycle. ‘One (return fire 134) is very much a post-sadboy concept; blending the worlds of emotionally driven lyricism, dark wave and character concepts, following the release of Going Kayfabe on Beijing based experimental club imprint S!LK,
Going Kayfabe saw Clu adopt an alter-ego soaked in reinvention; inspired by the chokehold of the arts councils in his native Dublin and frustration with a lack of support for more forward-facing sounds. Kayfabe’s sound is one of longing, taking the sadboy aesthetic and bringing it forward and into the contemporary era.
‘One (return fire 134)’ enters the frame through clouds of smoke and dark moodiness, highlighting Clu’s knack for crafting beautiful snippets of emotion through heavy repetition and lyrical stabs (yeah, you wear it so well / you caught me off guard a little bit / yeah, you wear it so well) against a backdrop of acid licks, icy synths and ethereal dreamscapes.
Clu has quietly been leading the charge for unique and captivating sound, with an aesthetic that is constantly shapeshifting through a dark and unpredictable subterranean.

Time passed by so quickly...one year ago our previous sampler / compilation showed up. Meanwhile many things have changed, releases have been made, friends came and went, climates are morphing within our fuzzy circle – the world outside is flippin’ as well and always has surprises down pat.
We got to know many people, artists, likeminded ones, and friends all over the world (-wide-net).
Talented creators, ambitious rookies, prolific professionals... they all contribute to the form of co-laboration in the context of sound as an including, non-exclusive medium and workflow.
Embracing divergent characters, scenes, styles and means of expressions to build up a wide network of asymmetry is our goal and ideal. Contrast, diversity, anomaly and variance are words that seem congruent with our mode of interest in the world of sound and expression; thus 76666 must be seen less as a label, than as a linking parque. Recollecting polyamorous habits is what we can learn from music by meditating on its communicative force.
Not being slave to the rave whilst not sliding into academical creeds, but trying to ride the Qi...
We want to thank all participants, supporters and friends who constantly give advice and reinforcement to the process of  finding common-isms in the love of peculiarities and frictions!
It’s not about making monetary profit; the revenue lies in the state of the interworld, in being connected and sharing energy, motivation and to exchange possibilities. To emphasize and transform this idea, all the revenues from this compilation will be shared to SeaWatch to particularly support the people in need on the greek islands and the Mediterranean Sea. We‘d like to keep this approach: to share at least a part of the revenues with those, who can’t afford our privileges. Minneapolis native Bre Nelson had been a closeted music producer for over a decade but is now invading the underground dance world and infecting the dance floor with her strange songs and DJ sets.
