 Highly respected, eclectic producer Daniel Testas joins us for release number 231 on Ready Mix Records, comprising two gorgeous original compositions plus remixes from Alex Doering, Rûh, Nōpi and Anber.
Amsterdam's Daniel Testas wears a variety of musical hats, producing music for film and dance projects as well as composing drum'n'bass, lounge and chill records, but luckily for us he regularly returns to his first love: House Music.
Title track 'Outer World' reflects Daniel's mastery of melodic, progressive dance music with haunting chords and rolling beats framed by pristine, crystalline production and a shimmering, slowly-unfolding arrangement that creates a truly breathtaking journey.
Alex Doering debuts on the label and embraces the darker elements of 'Outer World', delivering a plodding leviathan of a remix, while Rûh transforms the track into a plaintive, slightly retro synth-scape which subtly echoes the expansive soundtracks of Vangelis.
Second original track 'Spirals' once again tells a compelling musical story as it slowly unfurls itself, with subtly filtered arpeggios providing a perfect interplay between tension and release.
Nōpi raises the tempo of 'Spirals', imbuing the track with a lively, uplifting feel reminiscent of golden-era Progressive House, while Greek producer Anber plays with swirling psychedelic Eastern themes in his re-imagining of the track.

I have a talent for remembering things that are soooo not important.. really i know a lot of useless things!

One year has passed since the release of Jan’s longplayer „Moj“. We celebrate the anniversary with the release of a rich selection of reworks, interpretations and outtakes. A wide range of friends and musicians gifted Jan with their very own view on the original material - turning piano pieces into delicious slow house, ambient into stomping beats and minimal synth-music into dancefloor-pleasers. Also, Jan shares an unreleased composition from the Moj Sessions called „Warm Linear“ and an alternative version of „Un : Dix“. Ahoj Astronuts!

For centuries humans and animals alike have been wondering, what is going on up on that silver ball in the sky, that is appearing during night time (and sometimes also when it's bright). There have been countless myths around the moon – some are funny, some are weird, but we finally discovered what has really been happening all this time:

There is a rave going on, and might we say, it's a pretty slow one for that matter. We also sent a mission up there, to confirm our findings and pump some fresh tunes in the grey desert.

Manned by Suisse based AVEM and Mawa from the LOKD brigade, our rocket ship set out for earth's little sibling. Just like Voyager in its day they packed a variety of earths finest sounds whipped up into an interstellar EP that features four spacious but heartfelt songs and three reinterpretations, thought of by some of our finest friends: DAENGER, Gun!lla and JOIA.

You wanted to go with them?
Well, gladly there's this little Taxi here, that makes the travel at least once a day, but if you slide the sloth behind the wheel some of your space cash, we're sure he'll give you a ride.
