Emel White, founder and initiator of the music collective 
"MONKEYCIRCUS",has a passion for melodic techno. His style 
can be described as forward going techno that makes even 
grandma dance. Juicy beats and flippy drops are to be expected 
when he is behind the decks. His roots are in Ravensburg, the 
city of Rave in southern Germany but meanwhile he lives in 
Berlin and flips his tunes all over the scene.

I had the opportunity to be on there show "Adjust (Be) Invites #071" They are signed with labels such as Papaya, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, SMR Underground & LW Recordings. In this set they have an unreleased track with Reʌenänt and will be released this year. Lets start the week off the right way with some Techno!

Ventured many years together in the darkest depths of techno, these 2 frequencies collided with an outburst of energy.
Equipped with a melodic, rumbling and driving dedication to their passion, their journey began many years ago. It was in 2018 when they took the MUSICASA producers education to pursue their dream.

This duo, knowing each other for over a decade, has 1 single goal: to adjust your mind.

2020’s proven to be their first and firm step into pursuing their dream.
Hosting a podcast (Adjust (BE) Invites) where they’re inviting numerous DJ’s/Producers to make a signature guest set in these difficult times, being a member of the ‘Underground Kollektiv Radio’ show, performed on livestreams and having a second release in 2021, they’re moving with full force.

Their style can be best described als ‘energetic’, ‘no-nonsense’ and ‘emotional’ in a wide range of the techno genre, however they prefer to go head-on full melodic into the deepest and more emotional sides of techno.

Christian J is from London, UK, and has had a love of electronic music of all kinds from a young age. Trance captured his attention at the turn of the millennium, and the core of that sound is present in his sets today. He has evolved his style into a mix of dreamy melodic techno, progressive and techno-influenced productions, as well as the deeper grooves of tougher house sounds.

Having DJ-ed in London at The Egg and Ministry of Sound, Christian is also half of a successful podcast mix series, Five Plus Five, which is co-curated by his DJ partner @Tom McGuigan. .
