BURDENS DOWN is the work, art and poetry of Korey Pepper, a musician who's taken on many forms over his growth and time as a developing artist. Pepper seeks to speak and inspire those who are caught in the snares of their own minds and hearts. With poetic and puzzle like lyrics, and different grooves on the rock spectrum, you can expect lots of different themes and movements from any BD output. BD declares no agenda or one label for it's music, but is for anyone who has struggled with any vice, regret, poor decision, betrayal, abandonment etc... 

BURDENS DOWN has teamed up with Mark Frazer and BLACK DIAMOND STUDIOS out of Freeport, IL to release 2 full length albums 'The Billfold Syndrome (2015)' and 'Novocaine Mutiny (2020); and has reunited with Frazer on a 3rd full length record titled 'Fallen Idol', due out May 20, 2023!
