After meeting in Ulm we decided we should try doing something together, so I took the Walhallian music by OL for a remix. The driving arpeggio is done with help of the MIDI-In on my tiny Yamaha CS-01 (thanks, Jacob Korn for installing the kit). Temperatures are dropping and we’re all feeling the effects. Bordello A Parigi is letting the cold winds of the north swirl inside its doors with Russia’s Volta Cab bringing a fresh 2LP to the table. A spread of influences come together for the eleven tracks of Rise Again. Take “Emerald’s Phantasy”, a piece built on layers of percussion that blends elements of disco with notes of techno. “Dark Room” is a different affair. Arctic chords are cut with electro and distant vocals for an unsettling treat. “Kruger” stomps to a terse beat before lush pads bloom in a work that builds to dizzying peaks. Warm blasts balance these colder moments, the rich grooves of “Savage Fury”, the floor filling funk of “Board Scandinavia” and the removed romance of “Sweet Exorcist” all show another shade to the Volta Cab sound and of course there’s more. Rise Again is an audio collection of vibrant colours and hues, tracks pitch from icy blues to autumnal ambers and fiery reds; a musical kaleidoscope that stretches across a spectrum of styles.

Channelled into his band Die Wilde Jagd, Sebastian Lee Philipp's obsession for this place unleashes a uniquely spellbinding project of minimalist, tenebrous intensity. Luca Venezia, AKA Curses has spent the past year moonlighting as a DJ, Producer and a label owner for Ombra International, an imprint which focuses on left of centre analogue techno with a live edge specializing in Cold Wave with a slight hint of Goth. 
The latest offering is an EP from the Postmodernism Forms, an act based between Bogota Columbia and Berlin, Germany.
A track which channels the Cure as much as it does electronic music. The second track on the B side, 'Never Forget that You're Alive' boasts a live bass, distant sounding spoken word vocals which hypnotizes as well as creates the urge to dance. (difficult not to when closing in on 135 bpm) Dark and distant but always close enough for you to remember that you are alive.

Stockholm Syndrome are a DJ/producer duo based in Melbourne made up of Scottish born Iain Mac (aka Pyz) and Australian Brett Wilson (aka Wil-tron).  The unlikely duo, recognising their similar tastes came together to form Stockholm Syndrome in late 2013 after DJing at the same party.

Hailing from Edinburgh, Pyz has been DJing and promoting for over a decade.  With residencies at Split, Access and We… Electric he’s supported DJ Hell, The Hacker, Ivan Smagghe, Popof, Surgeon, Agoria, Luke Slater, Derek May and Kevin Saunderson to name a few.  After moving to Melbourne he formed Stray in 2012 and has been heavily involved in Yaldi Boomtime as resident and co-promoter.

Wil-tron discovered electronic music after dropping out of a Fine Art degree and a friend introduced him to artists such as Dopplereffekt, Aux 88 and Anthony Rother. He started producing his own tracks and made his debut performing live at Melbourne institution Meccanoid.  Since then he went on to perform at various clubs such as Boney (then Pony), The Mercat and the infamous Honky Tonks supporting the likes of Legowelt, Bangkok Impact, DJ TLR and Modeselektor.

Stockholm Syndrome’s style varies widely and unapologetically, it can’t be neatly wrapped up into a single genre.  They’re drawn to dark, moody, sub 120bpm techno, the energetic, raw and powerful Mex-tech, the Slo-Mo and the Balearic, Drug Chug and the strange.  Since their debut at Section 8 in Melbourne, they’ve gone on to clock up an impressive gig list DJing at many of the city’s iconic venues including Revolver Upstairs, New Guernica, The Liberty Social, Boney and The Mercat.

2015 saw the boys play an inspired closing set at the inaugural Piknic Electronik Melbourne, a twisted, genre-bending set at Unfold/001 and their first two original productions have been well received by other artists such as Gemini Brothers, id!r and Death by Repetition.

2016 started off with a bang when they opened the Sunset Stage at Rainbow Serpent Festival, widely regarded as one of the best music, art and lifestyle festivals in the world.  This was quickly followed-up with a return to Piknic Electronik Melbourne where they performed to a sell-out crowd warming up for The Hacker.  They also rounded out a big year with an appearance at Strawberry Fields Festival along with the support for Carl Craig on New Year’s Eve.

Stockholm Syndrome continue to keep themselves busy gigging around Melbourne, curating the monthly ‘Hostage Radio’ podcast and interview series, putting on their own ‘Cognitive Dissidence’ parties and co-running the recently launched ‘Tilt Shift’ events.  On top of this the pair have been focusing more on producing and remixing with their debut EP ‘Drowning Zombies’ released on Nein Records (UK) in November 2016 a remix of Dan Solo + Le Blanc Casanova also on Nein released in May 2017 followed by another for Tronik Youth released on Roam Recordings (USA) in June.  2018 already promises to be a big year, returning to Piknic Electronik and a number of original productions and remixes already signed and scheduled for release early in the year.

As Longitude is the Berlin based duo founded by Eva Geist and Laura ODL (also known as Ondula), which appeared in the new electronic scene after last year brillant number on Knekelhuis and appearance on the compilation Eine Welt vol 1..
In this EP their psychedelic madness that mixes in a very punkish way hypnotic sounds, voices and Saxo, bring us back to our bestial primitive instincts, when we were still close to animals. On the first track, which gives the title to the EP, the outstanding vocal performance by Berlin frontman and songwriter Paul Arambula reveals the duo’s wavy tendency in an unexpected song-form. The following tracks "NA Numbers", which features Simone of electronic duo Twoonky on the Saxophone, and "I thought it was Summer" maintain AL’s abstract although more tribal hypnotic thread.”Thats’ when the animals turned into humans” will be out on french Macadam Mambo on the 1st of december 2018.

This is the city Gaspar Noé documents with a dark heart and although the streets are paved with gold, just beneath the surface there is still blood which was spilled back in 1789. These mutants will stop at nothing to find your the songs that you love, mutate them and morph them, they will not falter in their goal, their aim is to kill your records.
The 44100hz Social Club have long been a fan of Les Disques De la mort and were massive fans of Naduve since long before his smash EP on Disco Halal, so imagine how pleased we were when Ivan Smagghe's imprint signed this heater.
Shonky electro vibes are the order of the day with the 20th release for the label. An off key breakbeat reminiscent of Model 500 yet never being derivative lovingly put together by the Tel Aviv resident, Naduve. Complete with chimes, snaps, indescribable top end synth noises and a vibe which is 100% dancefloor friendly while maintaining the unmistakable, yet uncategorizable sound. Now do yourself a massive favour and get back to work!

"Garbanotas" a.k.a. "Garbanotas Bosistas" (The Curly One) is a Lithuanian neo-psychedelia rock and indie folk rock band which started playing in 2008. Every show of the band witnesses the miracle of dreamy neo-kraut-psychedelic flowers growing out of the amplifiers. In order to transfer bits of this miracle on the club dancefloors 6 remixes were created by present and new "Partyzanai Pop" label artists. Lithuanian based artists:  Konsistent, Black Feeling, Ement, Bleach Cult, Shkema and Patris took diverse approaches to the songs from the album “Room For You”.
We are happy to represent amazing remix from Konsistent for a track -  „Should Your Name Be Love“. This is not the first time we share colorful Konsistent's creation on our channel!
