Naughty little number from 'Ten Walls', in which the track is entitled 'Requiem'. A courageous and punchy bass line soars through the track giving the song it's main melody. A steady beat plays alongside an accompanying synth line that plays small ostinato fragments which compliment this mean and nasty bass line quite nicely. I like to think of this song as 'Gothams' older brother.

You can always tell when the Norwegian's are in the house. Deep, moody, atmospheric, lovely vocals all glazed with a wintery touch and sparkle. The very same can be said for the Darkroom Dubs debut from Terje Saether.
The relatively unknown Oslo based producer is about to make a name for himself with the gorgeously spooky tech sounds of "Scared". A deep synth groove delivers us to the break where we are bathed in the sultry vocal of Malin Pettersen.
A key track for DRD label chief's Silicone Soul, "Scared" has been treated to a wealth of remixes. Not only are we treated to the tougher, dubby, glitched techno workouts of Freska & Daniel Kyo, Nadja Lind and Klartraum, but we are also presented with a stunning mix from label newbie Gregorythme and a quite unbelievable magnum opus from Terje's compatriots, Of Norway. At 24 mins she's an epic that you simply MUST take the time to listen... stunning!

"On a summer weekend in August during the crazy lifetime of the Berliner Bar 25, pianist Laura Weider challenged herself to a particular kind of concert in the circus. This 40 hour performance was witnessed as the 'Longest Concert of a Solo Artist' and subsequently made it into the Guiness Book of Wold Records. Cord and Sacha -- better known as the Kreuzberg based DJ & Production duo Robosonic -- managed to tape the whole concert including the atmospherical sounds made by the pianist and the public alike. Samples from this field recording madness were then cut and distilled into sound confetti, touched with funny, weird and euphorical moments -- such as the final countdown -- and sprinkled into a club track!"

Hot on the heels of his ‘Sweet & Spicy EP’ on The W Label, DJ W!LD now unleashes his ‘Rainbow In My Pocket EP’. The four tracks see W!LD at his most underground and dirty; it’s 3am music for when the freaks come out. Lead cut ‘Rainbow In My Pocket’ has a title which belies the deep, dark and thumping nature of the track, perfectly at home on the darkest, sweatiest dancefloors. ‘Beats 2’ is a DJ’s dream tool - scattered percussion and a “jack me till I start to scream” vocal loop relentlessly. On the B side, ‘Tokyo 9am’ has an impossibly deep bassline, energetic jacking beats and a vocal sample you may just recognise, while ‘Murder City’ is classic W!LD, featuring another intoxicating jacking beat and excursions into floaty breakouts. Another must have EP from a man at the very top of his game.
