This is the long lost Depeche Mode remix of "It Doesn't Matter" by Elvin Molina of Mic Mac Records fame. Elvin personally gave me a 1/4 reel of this mix when I was creating the tracks to "Make Noise" in his bedroom studio in the Bronx. While starting my music career back in the day I was also DJ at the legendary L'amour East in Queens for my friend James Streppone, and whenever I played this mix, the roof just came down. This is for all the people that remember those special nights at L'amour East.

Ed Burley is the co-founder, composer and music producer of Disco Sparks and the D.S. Orchestra based in Amsterdam. Disco Sparks produces Nu-Disco and funky house music with a link to the Oldskool style of the 70's and 80's. Ed comes from a musical family. At a young age he grew up with Gospel, Jazz, Funk & Soul music. He became interested in various instruments such as synths, organ, piano, trumpet and drums. Several musicians and producers came in the 70’s and 80’s to his parents' house and the jam sessions and improvisations were a great source of his musical development. His love for records started at a very young age and dancing was not unknown to him. In the early 80's he programmed beats with drum machines and made mixtapes for friends and played as a DJ at various parties. In 1996 Ed met DJ/Producer Richard Marinus and together with other friends they founded the record collectors club 80's Groove. Later this became the DJ and VJ Collective Groove Inc. Groove Inc. has organized Old Skool and Dance Classic events. (Oldskool At The Beach and Oldskool Behind the Grooves).

Disco Sparks provides DJ mixes and remixes on Dutch and international radio.

Disco Sparks produced a modern dance version in 2024 of the 70's track ‘Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow’ and released it on vinyl on ZRecords. (Disco Sparks featuring Christine Wiltshire & The D.S. Orchestra).
