Burning Seed is a gathering like no other; a not-for-profit, crowd-creation event run by participants and based around art, self-expression and community. 

Each year, we come together for six days in a state forest to build a temporary experimental community where you must bring everything that you need to survive for the time you are there, where nothing can be bought or sold, and where you must take everything with you when you leave. There are no stalls, sponsors or advertisers, and the only transactions are those of a gift economy. 

As the official regional burn of Burning Man Australia, it follows in the footsteps of the Burning Man festival, which has been taking place in Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA, since 1991. These events are guided by 10 principles, including radical self-expression, radical self-reliance, participation, communal effort, civic responsibility, radical inclusion, gifting, decommodification, leaving no trace and immediacy. 



No ankles and no sense of direction, but a persistent desire to question everything. Especially reality. BIBINIX rolls around, preferring forests and woods, and occasionally drifting underwater. Fears superficiality. Despises monsters and capitalism. Deeply concerned for humanity, independent of time and space, and constantly wondering how to transcend the strange sensation of being alive. Only trusts this: music, poetry, and absurdity are our only hope.

This is ANNΣ AFRΩDITΣ, the DJ of Love & Beautiful Vibes. 

Her sets are a celebration of diversity and the universal essence of music, where every beat is a confirmation of the infinite power of connection, expression and elation felt on the dance floor. She mixes tunes of worldly allure, fun, cheekiness, and heart-opening rhythms - a musical panorama that's funky, sassy, and undeniably groovy – testament to ANNΣ AFRΩDITΣ's obsession with delivering heart-happy tunes that etch themselves into your memories and put a smile on your bass-face.
She’s played at venues, events and festivals such as Earth Frequency Festival, Lab Leaked Beats, Mystic Valley, Balcony Beats, Funk Misheen, Sacred Hearts Festival, and Sol Vibrations Festival, amongst others. Weekly, she co-hosts  'Beats & Baklava' on Bay FM 99.9 Byron Bay Radio.
