Inglês e filho de John Phantasm, o dono de um dos primeiros selos de Psytrance a existir. Na certidão de nascimento é John Ford, como DJ se deu o nome de Junya, mas como produtor se resolveu como Eskimo. Precoce e influenciado pelo pai, John frequenta estúdios de produção desde os 8 anos e começou a ser DJ com 9 - profissionalmente aos 13. Afastado dos estúdios por conta da agenda, retomou a produção musical apenas aos 15 anos, culminando no lançamento do seu primeiro álbum aos 17, intitulado Can You Pick Me Up?.

Apesar do álbum ter tido certa notoriedade, foi o seu remix não-oficial para Voodoo People, do Prodigy, que o alavancou ao status de super-star. Em 2005 iniciou uma série de três álbuns que seriam cruciais para os rumos do psytrance mundial: Balloonatic. Com músicas que se tornariam hinos, como Are You Serious? e My Rave, a trilogia lhe rendeu uma infinidade de gigs em países como México, Japão, Israel e, é claro, Brasil.

Depois do lançamento da terceira parte da série Balloonatic, Eskimo mais uma vez alcança o topo criando um hino, mas dessa vez em parceria com os israelenses do Void. O trio, que passou a assinar como Megaband, tornou-se onipresente nos sets de psytrance de 2007 com a música MTV, ou como é popularmente conhecida, "Hello Moto". E se a presença de palco ultra-empolgada já incomodava os xiitas do trance, tornar-se uma banda (a exemplo do que Infected Mushroom fez na mesma época) foi o que faltava para que fossem tachados como chacota.

Gustavo Manfroni was brought up dedicating his time and interest completely to music. He's been playing the guitar since his early days. He played in 2 rock bands, up to the day when, during a trip to London, got in touch with the psychedelic trance music.

The interest in electronic music grew fast and, in the end of 1999, started buying softwares for producing music.

With an individual style focusing on strong warm basslines and textured, psychedelic leads, it breaks away from the standard full-on, representing a new, fresh direction in dancefloor music. 

He has gained recognition as one of the top live acts over the past few years. With performances over 30 countries at festivals across the globe, (e.g.) Boom Festival (Portugal), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Universo Paralello (Brazil), Ultramusic Festival (Russia), Fusion Festival (Germany), Vuuv Festival (Germany), Eclipse Summer Festival (Canada), Sonica Festival (Italy), FullMoon Festival (Germany), Aurora Festival (Greece), Paradise Festival (Austria), Summer Never Ends Festival (Switzerland), Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival (Germany), Glade Festival (UK), Maitreya Festival (Australia), Eclipse 2012 Festival (Australia), Antaris Festival (Germany), etc...), and more than 100 releases on labels worldwide, Gustavo has honed his style into dancefloor perfection.

Already with three acclaimed albums, 'Broken MP3', released on Brazilian label Vagalume Records in 2005, his storming second album, 'Passing Clouds', released on Alchemy Records in 2008 and his third album ‘Beyond Known Space’ released on 2014, that takes you on a journey beyond the realms of imagination and into the pure unknown. 

 Gustavo together with Swarup and Zumbi, released the self-titled artist album "The First Stone" in January 2006 and their second album early 2010.

In 2008 He joined forces with Dickster (Green Nuns of the Revolution, AMD), to form a new live act called "Circuit Breakers". With already 2 top selling EPs "Brazinglish" "Overload" and a full album "Fragmented Reality" released 2013 on Nano Records.

The unique blend of classic sounds and smooth vibe will take you back to where it all began and prepare you for this new adventure, through and beyond the limitations of our conscious minds. Now sit back and prepare to fly!
