Well just because...

I expect this post may spur a few DL and full show requests. I barely pulled any salvageable audio from this show which is why I never really listened to it prior to tonight. As you can hear there are mic pops, phasing issues, some loud talking at times. I was a few 100 feet from the stage and ended up saying fuck the recording and just danced... hard. (Pls forgive, I'm guilty of having fun at shows sometimes... ;) That in mind, hope most of y'all appreciate for what it is and enjoy. This is one of the strongest moments of the show and sounds decent all considered (the majority of the recording sounds nowhere near as good). As for DL, it's neither clean enough nor an official recording to make it DL worthy, please understand.

Brown Bird was a beloved Rhode Island-based band whose founder David Lamb passed from leukemia in 2014. The 2-CD tribute, "A Light I Can Feel", was originally conceived of, and compiled to help raise money for his treatment. Though he had heard most of this album, unfortunately Lamb passed before it could see release. We’re releasing “A Light I Can Feel: A Tribute to Brown Bird” in 2017 in his memory, to raise money for Sweet Relief, and to continue to share the music of Brown Bird with the world.
This is the opening cut, "My Mind is an Altar", performed by former Brown Bird members Jeremy and Jerusha Robinson as South China.
