Elf

A friend came up to me once and said, they did a projection of each person based on internet data, and then drew an avatar of them, 20 years in the future. You end up something like an elf dj? He was like, does that sound familiar? I was like, huh? Yeah kinda I do love that kind of music but the elf thing, not sure. Then he goes, well, it’s like a dark elf dj kinda thjng, Dark beats but fun too, kid friendly, safe & sound, that’s the elf part. 

That conversation was 24 years ago. My Military years. 

Did it really happen?

Kamykater is a DJ and producer from Thuringia. Rooted in classic Minimal Techno, he developed a deliberate range within electronic club music — from Deep House and Melodic Techno to Hard Techno. What connects his sets and productions is a clear focus on groove, tension and narrative flow: rolling, often hypnotic and melodic, yet equally dark, rough and uncompromising when the floor demands it. As the founder of Alarmamsel Records, Kamykater represents underground club culture — curated, precise, and professionally executed.
