'Coco Cobra is a dynamic and versatile DJ from Hannover, Germany. She specializes in breakbeat and different bass genres, and is part of the DJ- and club collective soft spot. Coco is dedicated to creating surprising moments, while keeping the dancefloor moving. Since last year, Coco has toured extensively throughout Germany and is constantly evolving her sound to keep her sets fresh and exciting.'

'For me it’s 'Dinge Queen In The Mist – Take Me Alive (Let Me Be Your Tupperwear).. – one of the first records I got and rarely play, but that always creates a special vibe in the crowd that can be summed up best by the sample “I wanna chill with you in ecstasy”..'

About you: 
'Bennet is a DJ based in Hannover, who merges oldskool house records, early progressive house and trance synths with breaks and early rave hymns. Going all across the board, they always recur to the dancefloor’s utopian notions of togetherness and unity, while seeking to highlight political dimensions of the body.

'My not so guilty pleasure „tu y yo, sob​á​ndolo“ by BRENDA. These powerful tranceguaracha interpretations make me feel different.'

About you: 
'Mariyam is a DJ from Hanover who joined the electronic music scene behind the decks in early 2022. In the same year, she became part of the freshly founded electronic music collective „pavement gum“ and developed a driving, dynamic sound that moves between different progressive genres like trance, acid or dembow.'

'DJ Rolando - Nights of Jaguar – One of my top 5 favourite tracks of all time - The way the song builds slowly is so perfect. When the violins change octaves half way through the track… I literally melt every single time.'


About you:  'London-based Queer DJ HENDERSON has always had a deep connection with music. With a background in Classical and Contemporary dance, their love of Dance music is intrinsically liked with their love of movement. For HENDERSON, the dance floor provides a space for self expression, creativity and freedom, and as a DJ, their goal is to be a catalyst for these things; for the dancers on the floor to feel that euphoric release so tied to dancing at the rave.'

i'm tall, i like wearing comfortable clothes, i'm hypersensitive, i have a french passport, i like music, i find capitalism unfair, i dj since 2015, i chill a lot, i make art, occasionally i go to the club because i like feeling subwoofers, i live in berlin, i have endometriosis, and i support the liberation of colonised people. the way the mixtape is mixed is very "me" because i select and play music in the same way that i experience life: big feelings & all sorts of energy flowing continuously. i'd say this mix a clubby version of what i do i my radio show "low end therapy" on soundcloud and on refuge worldwide berlin @refugeworldwide. fave stuff, breaks & murky bass.

the latest VA from the label W133 ! it's got a track of mine on the A side - the track is called "mahsa amini". the record is super special to me because it the first vinyl pressing with my music on it. and on the flip side there's a super bouncy track that i played in the mix, it's called "jacarandas" by sam who & pino peña, w133's boss dude. tip!

Our second єχυ∂є mix comes from Berlin's own @jaara_la, an hour of euphoric, trippy swinging bass and breakbeat tunes. JAARA is a DJ, photographer, model + member of Femme Bass Mafia. Since her debut behind the decks in 2022, JAARA has played some of Berlin's most beloved trans parties including DUMP + SWEAT rave, and we can't wait to have her join us for our ιηтєяηαтισηαℓ ∂σℓℓѕ ηιɠнт at ACUD Club on March 9th!

 So Gone (Scumfrog Smack your Dub) - Monica 
I've loved this track since I found it in 2022. It's ruthlessly emotional, fierce and sexy. It also expresses things that sometimes you'd rather just think than do in real life, haha.

About you:  
Starting with her mix for the trans collective Exude, JAARA is now focusing more on selections that feel sentimental, nostalgic, and, above all, honest. Whether dreamy, nasty, or seductive, her approach to music is intuitive as she effortlessly navigates through different genres with a certain flirtatiousness to create an intimate, sensual atmosphere. As a photographer, JAARA enjoys music that takes her away from the dance floor and doesn't necessarily have an electronic feel but rather a cinematic narrative. However, this doesn't mean she hasn't turned dance floors into sauna-like spaces, leaving the crowd sweating for more.

Buttercup is about creating a space filled with warm, organic sounds that evolve into uplifting moments of ecstasy. The queer party series intentionally holds room for empowerment and togetherness. It’s all about sharing cute moments and connecting with qts at your momentary home.

Buttercup was founded by Hanover-based Bennet and Coco Cobra in 2023, to strengthen the city’s queer nightlife and to provide headroom for house in all its shapes, punchy proggay tunes, deep breaks, profound bass and to fill all the inbetweens.
