LGBTQA artist hailing from the washington, dc metropolitan area, Voegele began songwriting as a Freshman at George Mason University. At 17 she played the bass guitar in the short stint with the indie surf rock band Jurkat touring at bars in the cities of Richmond, Baltimore, and Washington, DC.
