Magic Man

Emotionally Stabilizing Strat Strangling Therapy. Played it like it was. I only ever seem to pick up an electric guitar when I feel like this. People think I'm some kind of guitar hero but I can't play like this really, only when I'm messed up, and even then it's rarely coherent as I struggle to let go of my pitiful musical knowledge and let my subconscious take over.   I don't care much for tradition,  I just like to make it scream and weep.  This is a tune that just happened to me because my dad never wanted to speak to me again.  I hung up the phone and caught myself off guard. While my brain was busy trying to process our conversation, a musical version of my grief occurred in the background.  Switching off from conscious musical decisions is extremely difficult, trusting in some higher force is even harder. It happens naturally and for a reason and can not be forced, only anticipated and eagerly awaited, which is in itself the entire problem.  Quite frankly, I'm amazed that this is me. You can float up into the air as long as you don't think about it.
