Joe Dean was born in a log cabin that he helped his Mother build. He has played bass in fX, A Few Circles, Victor the Florist, Laughing Academy, Noise God, Tin Brood, Crawlspace, Maria Silver, Object:blender, Christian Lunch, Constant Llama, ¿What Street?,  The Mooseheart Faith Stellar Groove Band, The Watts Band, Three Eyed Fish, The Jack Brewer Reunion Band, Cast of a Thousand, Sassafras, MajicBulletTheory, Million Kids, and The Wrinkling Brothers, his first self led band since 1986.

Originally from Los Angeles, resides in San Francisco, California, Holden Helm is an electronic music producer, songwriter and synthesizer virtuoso. 

The Nighted is inspired by: Enigma, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, Schiller, Chvrches, Clan of Xymox, Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre.

Although we’ve tried not to label ourselves, we’ve been called experimental, spacerock, postrock, psych and mathrock. So far, we’re an instrumental band so each new song is a reimagination of what we can do with the our hands, that will speak for itself and entice listeners to project their own imagination onto the sound.
