Two years on from the Sakura Fall EP, East London-based Bxentric presents a debut album release Desolate via Nanda Records. In the prevailing time, Bxentric was featured on B.Traits BBC Radio 1 Show, playlisted by Maceo Plex for his R1 Essential mix and Max Cooper's Balance Series, which is one of the most storied compilations in electronic music.

Desolate displays a diverse use of deliberate and accidental sound-strokes, on a foundation of subaqueous undertones. Like a brush to canvas, Bxentric has created a balanced composition, offsetting the negative space with enough contrast to ensure a dynamic and narrative intensity. With a vitality for creation and time to evolve, Bxentric's auricular expansion has been the seed for Desolate.

Presented is a depth of field and focus to experience in any given space. What begins with a heavy punch of 'The Carrier' flows into an electrified 'Altered Signal' puncturing the static air as it moves. Then it plunges into the acidity of 'Mawrth' before resting at 'Echo 5', evoking the midnight calm of a sleeping city, only for you to be reawakened by the chants that 'Envelope' develops, while title track 'Desolate' completes an underbelly of hypnosis. The album moves into the warehouse space with 'Over Circle', ending in the chaotic energy of 'Minus Four'.

"Over the long period my album took to create, I channelled many emotions and experiences, whilst attempting to capture that 'first thought best thought' onto record. What ensued was a combination of hyper energy, deep exhaustion and sometimes anxiety. I present you with an honest record that hopefully is enjoyed from start to finish the same way I enjoy many other inspiring records that exist today. Thank you, Bryn."

Atlant closes out a landmark year by compiling a range of music to add value, strength and depth to any discerning DJ’s folder of essentials.

Here we call on members of the Atlant family old and new after BOg welcomed the likes of Darlyn Vlys, GHEIST, LKF Project, Yost Koen, Andy Bros and Losless to the fold in 2019. All artists brought their unique vision, sound and creativity to produce music that will endure the test of time.


This compilation also draws on game changing remixes by Fideles and Mind Against that obliterated dance-floors and sound systems across the globe in 2019. Both these tracks get a huge reaction every time they are played and should come with a warning, so please handle responsibly.

As a label it is great to see how Atlant artists Innellea, Glowal, Mulya and Night Talk have grown and developed their sound - since appearing on the labels we love like Afterlife, Innervisions, TAU, Multinotes and ELEMENTS. Here we feature their timeless tracks that are always in BOg’s Rekordbox on the road.

Thank you to everyone for all your support in 2019. These are exciting times and we have big plans already in the works for 2020.

Mulya - Romeo

Welcome Alex Preda Einmusika. The Amsterdam based producer comes up with a melodic and dreamy EP for the summer. "Mind Program" is groovy and has a lot of playful lead melodies next to deep pads. "Before Sunrise" starts exciting and mysterious and then opens up some wonderful 80's textures. "After Midnight" is more functional and works perfect for groovy set's on a sunny afternoon.

Infinite Depth already reached its 20th EP and for this release the label welcomes the Argentinian U S H N U (@ushnu-official). To make this EP pretty special, he delivered seven outstanding originals. This EP almost can be seen as a mini-album and goes from regular ‘four-on-the-floor’ to ambient to breakbeat. Yet, U S H N U managed to inject every track with his characteristic minimalistic, emotional and a bit dark sound. Not left unnoticed is that he recorded all vocals himself.

The EP starts off with an ambient track, called ‘Road To Nowhere’. First an intriguing melody comes through, which builds up together with the vocals to its highest point. All combined, setting the tension for everything that’s coming next.

‘Esmeril’ goes through on the tension set by ‘Road To Nowhere’. In here the minimalistic sound design of the EP already comes forward pretty noticeable. Percussion and synths are communicating with each other while flowing through a broad spectrum of audial space.

‘Cløser’ is the third track of the EP. Through this track U S H N U managed to bring the groove into the collection. The groovy lower part and percussion got accompanied by his gently suppressed vocal, which is not meant to be the center of the track, but it’s playing an important part in the impressive wholeness of the track.

The second ambient track is called ‘Venom’ and forms the bridge between the first and the second part of the EP. The high pitched synths and sharp hats are reaching the ears as a good-natured venom, which are forming a somewhat harmonious interplay with the lower frequencies.

Harmony is taken to a next level in ‘Where Are Your Heroes’. In this one the breakbeats are coming through during the beautiful intro. This intro opens the gate to a place where everything and everyone are living together in harmony and where no heroes are needed, because there is no evil.

‘Defected Resurrection’ brings back the darkness. Where there was no evil before, this track hits you with vicious synth-work and heavy kicks. All fitting into the frames of U S H N U his characteristic style.

From start till end it’s clear why the title track, ‘Diamond Tears’, is chosen to be the final track of this fascinating EP. The track has an emotional closing vibe and brings a satisfied feeling with him. A feeling which forms the perfect completion of this collection of seven original tracks, that are forming the 20th EP of the label.
