Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress) - The Hollies - 1972

Remember the 1960s and 1970s? I remember in 1966 (I was 13) when The Hollies came out with “Bus Stop” and I loved the pop sound. A few years later they had other hits including “Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)” in 1972, which was a big departure from their earlier musical style but a really great song. It has a very challenging intro and changing timing for its lyrics and rock sound (it was called Swamp Rock!!??). It was a blast to learn and record. Hope you enjoy it.
