Prehistoric Kingdom: Legacy (Unused Music)

The first proper track written for the project, 'New Dawn' is one of the pieces designed specifically for the night/morning periods in the game.

Legacy: Building Blocks (2017)

An introductory piece that greets the player upon starting a new game. 'Building a Kingdom' is highly significant, as it was the first experimentation with the game's main and secondary theme.

Legacy: Island Life (2017)

The aptly titled 'Gallus' is a reference to one of Prehistoric Kingdom's more obnoxious yet lovable creatures. Some different arrangements of the main theme can be heard here, but overall I'm very happy with the style and feeling behind this one.

Written with a personal reminder to not go too big with the orchestral sections, Genetic Wonders is one of my personal favourites due to some experimentation with different scales and an evolving texture.

Genetic Wonders

Written for the in-game restaurant as a looping background piece. In terms of overall instrument quality this one was a little tricky to produce as my sample libraries aren't built for big band and swing tracks so I did my best to cover up the imperfections.

The music will be muted and more indoors sounding inside the game which'll help hide some of the weird artefacts!

Jurassic Jazz (Extra)

This variation of the mammal theme puts a strong emphasis on winds, brass and percussion to create a more choral sound than what is typically done for other tracks in the game.

Primigenius (Mammal Theme)

Finally got around to finishing this piece that I began back in 2017. It makes use of the carnivore motif as well as some variations on the main theme.

Tantrum-o-saurus rex

Genesis was a pleasant ambient track to create as its slower tempo lent itself to some lighter dynamics and swells. There's a lot of nostalgia attached to this kind of piece, so I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did writing it!
