Musician- John Masino
...Midwest guitarist John Masino is constantly on the go performing with the John Masino Band. A former CBS recording artist, he has been a member of dozens popular Midwest bands including The RJ’s, Cynthia and the Soul Asylum, SRO, The Wrack, Baby Fat, Chunky Pie, Hi-Fi, Powerplay, The Rage, The Gregg Clemons Band, Clear Blue Betty, Riled Up and the very successful 70’s band PUNCH. John has opened countless national shows for bands such as Head East, Ted Nugent, Blue Oyster Cult, Savoy Brown, Foghat, Quiet Riot, John Mellencamp, The Tubes, Cheap Trick, America, and many others including guitar legends Rick Derringer, Leslie West, Robin Trower and Neil Zaza. In the early 80’s, John lived in New York City where he performed and did session work before moving back to his hometown Madison Wisconsin.
A few accomplishments for John Masino include: winners (with his band) of the MAMA (Madison Area Music Association) “Best Rock Performer” for 2012, and “Best Guitarist” for 2010, winner of the 2012 Guitar Center “Battle of the Blues” Madison competition, winner of the 2011 Guitar Center “King of the Blues” Madison and Minneapolis competitions, honorable mention from www.songoftheyear.com for “Heaven” from the new CD “Really?” released in December of 2011. A fan of Film Scores since 1988, Linwood Riley (Byte19) decided in the Summer of 2009 to start composing his own music for whoever wants it. Co-Founder and Drummer for the Chicago-Based group The Muse Machine, He is also Engineer and Producer for Solo artist The Rascal Theorist. One of the staples of Madison's vibrant music scene, The People Brothers Band has been spreading their brand of Rhythm and Soul around the Upper Midwest for nine years. Currently working on their second studio album, the band is known for energetic live shows and ability to connect with the audience.

The Rascal Theory are a powerhouse band on a mission to make you move and groove with their electrifying blend of Funk, Rock, and Blues. 2013 MMI Battle of The Bands Champions,The Rascal Theory are Dr Funkenstein meets Sgt Pepper and every genre in between. Thats only a small way to describe the musical soundscapes they explore. They obviously sat hours listening to and absorbing some of the greatest albums ever recorded and those influences are found in every Rascal Theory song. TRT can't be contained to one style or genre..oh yeah, you will dance... sucka! they have been rocking faces across the region, sharing the stage with bands like Newport Jam, Mad City Funk, Woodson, The Mighty Groove Machine, and the Chris Kohn Band. Whether its the Come Back Inn in Madison or Showboat/Mamas in the Dells, everybody that sees this band live can testify there just ain't no party like a Rascal party!
