A midnight sailing of slinky selections over on the Humming Hut stage Saturday night - right as cyclone Gabrielle was approaching..!

This is the first half of that set - featuring a hefty dose of afro disco, retro house, and galactic indie funk kinda flavas.
Not included in this recording is the live saxophone that was being jammed over the tunes by the talented horn player Rachael Travaille.

Massive appreciation to the Shipwrecked crew for all their epic work in holding down a festival amidst an approaching Cyclone, and offloading everyone offsite safely!

The music project ‘Peace Accords’ was started by two music producers Waxwood and Begiroquai in Brooklyn New York in 2019. 

The name was chosen from our backgrounds, hailing from Russia and Georgia, respectively and making friends where the United Nations headquarters is we wanted to base our music not only on the music we love and share and the NY underground music scene we love and get inspired from, but also our Tolstoy love for peace for all mankind. 
We convey our emotions within our songs and tell a story that always culminates in a positive and meditative outcome. 

 Our first EP is inspired by our travels and experiences in Mexico in the recent past. The title song ‘La tirolesa’ which means the zip line, was inspired by our hike in San Jose del pacifico. We encountered a zip line abandoned for the day and recorded sounds from everything we could get interesting sounds from on the site.  

‘Bitropical’ tells a tale of a complicated person we met who caused us quite a range of emotions during our short acquaintance and the song is our interpretation of this experience with a positive ending of course.
