These 3 are a preview to the album "The Meaning of Stam".

While their base is in Tel Aviv, Kessef’s music will resonate with listeners all over the world. Influenced by acts such as Entombed, Today is the Day, Unsane, Celtic Frost and Burning Witch, Their sound is universal, even more so in the sense that everyone can relate to the horror and turmoil that is found in life, everyone knows pain and torment and it seems Kessef know it more than most. Catharsis is key here and Kessef play to release those inner demons, to share their anguish with the world and to reconcile the darkness that we all find within ourselves.

"The Meaning of Stam" is their Debut Album and Kessef have travelled a long road to get to this point. Forming in 2011 with a slightly different line-up, the band wrote and played often but it wasn’t until a member shift in 2013 that the album came close to being finalised. The Meaning of Stam was recorded live at LUNA STUDIOS in Israel with Guy Lebiush as Engineer, HAR’s Daniel Atai mixing and Collin Jordan (Bongripper, Cough, Indian, Lord Mantis and many, many more) on mastering duties. The result is a record that's weighty, honest and stacked with emotion – the overriding one being complete and utter disdain.

"The Meaning of Stam" loosely translates from Hebrew to “whatever” or “just. Here, the band say that the meaning is redundant, it doesn’t mean anything special or obvious and that the album is an amalgamation of all its potential meaning - its rammed with huge guitars, harsh, guttural vocals and an atmosphere of pure disgust.

Kessef are anti, they are negative and they are decidedly hostile and uncompromising in the execution of their inner thoughts ; flowing music laced with feelings, they’re here to inject total misanthropy on every level.
