Krakenkraft's Mysterious Patchouli Triangle (undermulden Remix) (disquiet0594)

A remix of @user-711331258's collaboration with @noodletwister and @sinnysounds for last week's Junto.

The track and the reverse of the track were sent to my modular, where the audio was chopped based on varying decay envelopes. Some of the signal was overdriven and some sent though a Wasp filter. The resulting signal was filtered using a SEM filter to remove some of the harsher frequencies. Three tracks were recorded using different settings, then merged in Ableton for the final track. These were combined with an LA Atmos track from Spitfire Audio's LABS, and my own field recording of the San Francisco BART at Powell Street.

“When the Clocks Forget Our Names” is a haunting meditation on impermanence — on how time slowly erases every trace of who we were. It’s the sound of being forgotten.
