Hungarian party and label Secret Fusion returns with a fantastic fourth EP, this time from Anglo-Italian La Mano complete with a remix from the bosses themselves, Secret Factory, plus Younger Than Me. Mixing up progressive, melodic and deeper shades of house and techno, the north of England born Carlo Bragagnini has built a reputation as a skilful and gutsy DJ over the past two decades. He has formed a signature sound informed by early Sasha mixtapes and since then brought in Italo and disco influences that mean his grooves have real energy and flavour.
Then comes the excellent ‘Nebbia’, a serene cut with a sombre mood that has crisp hits and poignant one-finger bass stabs that echo out into a night sky. It is tasteful club music with real emotion. Hungarian innovators, party people, DJs and producers Secret Factory then step up and flip this one into a cosmic machine music gem, with chugging drums and glistening melodies all underpinned by fat, rasping bass.

New Year Message

Hi everyone, I hope you and your families are well. 

As we hurtle towards another year I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your enthusiastic support. 

It has been a busy year with the completion of the box set project making all the 1st five albums available in lovely remastered form. I am very pleased with the way they turned out and I hope you enjoyed some of the rare tracks we were able to include. 
We managed to take the DIA/HL tour around the world visiting Japan, Australia, the UK, and the US, and it was a blast to play those albums for you.

Next year will be the 30th anniversary of the first single release and it seems like a great excuse to do something special again. I'm planning a show or shows for the end of the year which will feature new music and video composed primarily for live performance and a selection of my favourite tracks from the whole hojo canon. In the new music I hope to write specific parts for audience participation and I hope you will feel like joining in the fun of this (parts will go out before the show). 
We also plan to release a DVD set of all the promo videos to date with remastered audio in the box set format. 

Who knows what else might happen!

Parisian rule breaker Captain Mustache lands on My Favorite Robot with more of his spellbinding electro, this time with help from Fierce Ruling Diva and Robert Armani, while Smash TV step up to remix.

Inspired by 80's pioneers, Detroit techno and electroclash freaks, Captain Mustache's sound is defined as romantic and burlesque electro. Earlier this year, he served up a single, 'How Come You Know' featuring Adamski on Electronic Emergencies that got heavy support from Dave Clarke, whilst his ‘Mentally Naked’ EP on this label was a smash, picking up love from Andrew Weatherall (RIP), DJ Mag, Laurent Garnier and more. He now follows things up with more stylish workouts in the shape of ‘The Future’ EP.

This is a fantastically high energy affair from the off with 'You Gotta Believe' feat. Fierce Ruling Diva layering up trippy bleeps and squeaks onto jacking house drums, with soft acid lines and incessant vocals from Fierce Ruling Diva layered over the top. The excellent 'Work That' feat. Robert Armani is a more electro tinged affair with crisp hits and a glossy modulated bassline. There are cosmic vibes in the synth lines and a future retro cool in the deadpan vocals that help drive this track forwards. Final original, 'The Future' works you into a lather with its acid gurgles while far-sighted pads bring a sense of soul and optimism next to playful and wonky chords.

German veteran producer, Smash TV, has long brought his own distinctive sound to the underground. Here he first flips 'The Future' into a warm slice of bubbling and colourful techno with freewheeling synth loops before offering a second superb electro remix. This one has more rugged and broken beats, again with the lush pads adding heat while a dreamy lead synth completes the trip.

Hello, my name is Markus, I was born in 65 Geneva Switzerland but my origins are german, so some life time past. 
I learnt piano with different teacher, and  throught conservatoire, and between on my own using my ears.

Enjoyed a lot tweaking keyboards and synths throughout the eighties, were I used a long list of gear, bought and sold for a part.
 like listen to the music from that time and before, favourite seventies, and eighties.

 then also played here and there with different regular pop and rock bands.
 
Couldn't stop to love great Synthesizer, and I experimenting with several machines, 
even when most of them became a lot more virtual today, it was fantastic to get back to all these old clones of unaccessible hardware.

However this my music under the name of horizons that should be less common even if I try to keep a harmonic, like melodic edge along with some more experimental investigations. 
I recorded or composed on time, there is an album called "Dreams of the Maiden", you can check or listen to.
