A name that many have been eagerly anticipating the next moves of, Dahu, has finally shrugged off his elusiveness and stepped out of the shadows. Emerging onto the scene with his much accredited debut EP ʻDeep in the Woodsʼ, the young artist has set high standards for himself and looks set push off even further within the scene with his latest EP ʻNorthʼ. ʻNorthʻ is a dark, moody affair that features two originals and a remix from Nick Devon each screaming with attitude.

Title track ʻNorthʼ upholds the feeling of the EP, full of energy and yet enigmatic in its dark undertones. Haunting synth lines circulate around a bellowing bassline, whilst glass bells and falling keys give added texture and atmosphere to this murky tale.

Nick Devon steps up with his take on ʻNorth, with a remix that sharpens the elements of the original. Expertly balanced kickdrums lay against finely tuned hi-hats to give this remix a more classic house vibe.

Closing the book is ʻHow Do They Knowʼ, a delicately deep track that seals the deal at the end of the night. Backed by a structured bassline that sits below sub, synth stabs become more and more melodic whilst strong piano chords fuel the emotion.

Again, with so much goodness we can’t describe & mention everyone so will let the music do the talkin’, yet here’s a brief description from Rob on this years bam fest!!! Miami Sleaze 2015 is a perfect journey of everything we stand for and now in 2015, we’re moving and opening our horizons to a wider scale of disco, house & techno music, all under one roof. We love it all regardless of pigeon holes and as a DJ I’ve always played a variety of house music within my sets to accompany that special timing of where a track fits, I always work a mix the same, from start to end, it’s a movement throughout the beginning to the very end. Mix One grabs the emotions and soul building the sexiness steadily and mapping a true story out for the floor… The vocals all mean something and by the time it’s diggin’ deeper & the darker sides of the dance are becoming apparent. Various styles working perfectly achieving the same goal, things get druggy and switch back in perfect transition, who needs drugs when you have music, right? Mix Two takes us from an innocent feeling of nu disco lushness into the latter tales of frenzied deep house & techno vibes. Things really do start to boil away on this before it’s more modern look at the floor and things to come… Robs vision for Sleazy Deep is growing with him and this is a perfect look & the feel for the labels future, firmly stuck in its roots yet blossoming into one of the freshest labels around. Deepalma Records founder Yves Murasca pairs up with regular collaborator Rosario Galati and German act Chasing Kurt for a release on Kittball featuring remixes from Viennas Keyano and Berlins Superlover.Having cut his teeth as an artist on Milk & Sugar, Germanys Yves Murasca has since found much success at the helm of his thriving Deepalma Records label. Together with Rosario Galati, both producers have made frequent appearances on the imprint since its launch in 2013, however it was in May last year when they made their debut on the renowned Dortmund-based label, Kittball.Murasca & Galatis second contribution to the label also features Chasing Kurt who are well-known for their work on Mousse T.s Peppermint Jam and Defected Records.An emotive and effervescent production from the off, The Light powers forward with a sultry bassline and soft synths whilst incorporating Chasing Kurts inimitable vocals. Where to start......?

C-funK has been apart of the South African Underground since 1999. Initially started as a battle dj and was runner up to the 2001 Technics Battle of the DJ's Champion Funky-G. He then held residencies at some of SA's most iconic clubs and has released 2 compilations under Sheer Music with long time friend and 1 on 1 partner Small Paul. 

C-funK still sets dancefloors alight with a variety of Sub-House genres that takes listeners on  journeys if the mind long before the body has even noticed!! As the name stipulates....Funky tunes, phat basslines and hypnotic vocals!!
