Unless you've been attending any of the recent sub-underground happenings in Atlanta's nightlife-zone then you probably won't recognize the name Tad Allagash.  Tad is a relative newcomer to the scene but is no half-stepper when it comes to selecting and mixing wax.  Hard hitting, deep, jacking, machine focused house and techno is his specialty and one look at the tracklist should be enough to show you that this guy knows his tracks.  Thick basslines, deep chords, no-nonsense drums, and late night textures and feelings abound in this epic 80 minute session recorded live from Tad's Atlanta base.  Put ya weight in it and move some, spring is here!

Label of the Month: The Bunker New York (Mix by Bryan Kasenic)

Came across P.E.A.R.L a while back now and have been really enjoying his mixes when I fancied something with a bit more attitude and oomph. Dark and deep with a good variety of sound to keep things interesting. I am very happy he chose to join up on the series.

He started his relatively new label Falling Ethics, based in Berlin. And his latest release "The Fall of Because" represents everything I enjoyed about his style. A broken beat roller chugs along nicely with Sorrows delivering the same vibe in a more dancefloor based stomper. On remix duties in non other than Oscar Mulero and a trippy rolling number by The Transhumans.

After releasing an exceptional EP of twisted jackers on CGI last month, it only made sense to ask Grey People to contribute a mix to our series. Here we are treated to a deeper look into what is influencing the pluralist industrial jackin utopia that is his original production work.  Much like the EP itself, this mix takes us through a wide range of moods, from dark and dusty to deep and cosmic to funky and downright playful…and a few things that defy easy categorization.  A most pleasurable cross-section of acid, house, italo, new beat, ebm, new wave, and techno, no one could have weaved all of this together as seamlessly and as creatively as the warped mid if Grey Peopel.

Coming from Polish born, Brooklyn based Amourette, an eclectic DJ pursuing emotion over one particular sound. She’s interested in spaced out electro, broken-beat techno, psychedelic distortions, deep baselines and indelible melodies. Amourette is the co-curator of Brooklyn’s Remedy event series, focused on showcasing raw, groundbreaking talent such as Annanan, Drvg Cvltvre, Marsman, Justin Cudmore, TWINS, Claude Young, Patrick Russell, Zenker Bros and more. Remedy has debuted many artists from Europe and is continuing to promote cutting-edge sounds. She also graciously provided us with a tracklist for this killer set.

Maroje came down to Atlanta in June and played one of the most impressive live sets we've seen in a while for a CGI party, so it only made sense to ask for a mix and see what kind of madness is influencing his brilliant style. Those of you who live in NYC keep an eye/ear out for his awesome REMEDY parties he throws with partner-in-crime Amourette.
