Swingamajig has had a few years off, but it's back, and to celebrate I've done a new mix for it.  Featuring a selection of music from acts who are playing Swingamajig this year, plus a bunch of favourites of mine, and some of my unreleased tracks.

After the release of the epic Paul Sitter album: Hip-Hop Delivery in 2023 &ndash; it was only natural to call upon some of the best remixers in our scene to put their twist on these timeless originals. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is proud to introduce the vol. 1 out of 2 upcoming remixes package featuring a large range of styles from various corners of the electronic funk music scene.
Starting out with a true legend All Good Funk Alliance, who has taken the Go Move track featuring Andy Copper for a funky joy ride though some classic breaks and funky grooves. Followed by a big atmospheric redo of Global Chemistry by Mined Music who&rsquo;s taken a melodic hiphop twist on the otherwise oldskool original. The funky supersonic beat force Sonale came in on point as he turns the King Of Rock into his own on a beat and bass heavy funky remix. Freethinker Funk Essence takes a more chillout approach on one of the more instrumental track on the album called Nothing Gonna Change His Way.Roast Beatz takes it back on the floor with the dance friendly funky house remix of the Go Move&nbsp;featuring&nbsp;Andy Cooper on some classic disco funk grooves.Finally we see UK-based Towlie DJ taking the wicked B-Boy Impressions on a funky Drum &lsquo;N&rsquo; Bass ride to firmly conclude the first volume of the Hip Hop Delivery remixes. C@ In The H@ (pronounced: Cat in the Hat), DJ & Producer who creates a fusion of early twentieth century swing and jazz, and chunky twenty-first century beats with bouncy electronic bass.  

Hailing from Birmingham UK with an innovative style called "Swing with the Big Bass Sound", his DJ sets are about mashing it up and having fun, bringing you Electro Swing & Vintage Remix with aspects of Turntablism, DnB, House, Hip Hop, Dubstep & whatever else fits into the melting pot.  

He is also Director at Ragtime Records alongside Tom ESC (Electric Swing Circus) & Duke Skellington (Vaude Villainz).  His releases have seen him getting a number of Spotify editorial playlistings (including a no.1 spot), tracks in the top 10 on Beatport, and his remix of 'Swingin' Together' has been featured on no less than 3 best of Electro Swing compilations. As well as producing music for Ragtime Records, he has also had releases on Freshly Squeezed, Pedigree Cuts, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Ton Liebt Klang, & Greenqueen Music.   

Since 2012, his music has secured him gigs at the most exciting UK Festivals including Boomtown, Shambala, Secret Garden Party & Glastonbury; as well as seeing him playing gigs all across Europe, and further afield including UAE & Thailand.
