My opening set from the sixth annual Winter is Coming party at Climb Base5 in North Van. An ideal venue to create the wintery cave-like vibe this party is known for.

We start off with a some beautiful instrumental foreplay, slowly & steadily building to grimey, hip swaying world bass, dubstep and even some (actually good) trap to really get the twerkshop going. As usual, I sped things up into some energetic bass house & tech house toward the end, to ramp up the energy for the epic night to come.

Akriza  is a musician and electronic music producer hailing from the city of Portland, Oregon, currently based out of Nevada City, California. He explores a range of genres in his productions, most often characterized by epic cinematic movements and soaring vocal melodies. His work ranges from heavy bangers to deeper emotional tracks, inspired by his travels around the world--capturing and reflecting the feelings of awe that arise from witnessing some of the earth’s most epic natural beauty. Some of Akriza’s sonic influences include Clozee, CharlestheFirst, and TroyBoi.

Some of Akriza’s notable performances include playing internationally in Mexico and Guatemala, One Love Festival, Unison Festival, High Vibe Festival and many Living Prism events.

His second album Templo Sagrado was released on High Vibe Records at the end of 2021 and he has many releases and collaborations planned for 2022.

For as long as he can remember Vancouver-based Coleblooded has had the innate instinct to take over the music at any gathering. He got his start at university parties and later evolved into a fixture in Vancouver's Electro-Swing revolution. He is now known for his dynamic blend of melodic deep/tech house, Playa-Tech and booty-shakin Nu Disco. Recent projects have brought a new sound centered around fire dancing/performance, blending World Bass, Desert Dub, Glitch-Hop and (good) Trap music.

His favorite thing about DJing? That moment when everything is perfect. That moment when everyone is connected. That moment when Coleblooded sets you free to live.. love.. feel.. reveal.. and DANCE!

Cookies Slayer is a Producer, DJ and Sound Editor/Designer for movies and video games based in Montpellier, France. His sound falls somewhere in between different genres, approaching music with a fresh, experimental twist. His sound blurs the lines between psytrance, down-tempo, experimental and ambient, going for a fresh and unique twist. He also incorporates other influences, including tribal, techno and even world music with an eastern flavor. Cookies Slayer loves to give his music a quirky, darker twist, often blending different genres to create an innovative and personal blend of sound. His productions are unique due to his approach of sound design, and the lush sonic textures that make the songs special and one-of-a-kind.
