'Lava' is a bumping, electro house banger with great use of guitars, chants and more of that wonderful slap bass that defines Funkinright's sound. Together these 2 make for an unstoppable release.

We are already in July - time to travel to Italy, take a walk on the sun and have some funky summer beats. Let us welcome Groove Mind to the BBP Free Powerhour series! 

Coming from the fat city of Italy, Bologna, it is his turn this month to deliver a free tune to the series... and his job's done in quite a copious way: tense melodies provide to grab your attention in the entire run of the song. Being injected with smooth tiny portions of the 80's, the snare and clap of the tune hit just as back in the days.

This could easily become one of your summer weapons of choice here. It would not be the first time for Groove Mind, who is no stranger to delivering bangers. With releases under his belt on labels like Ghetto Funk, Glitch Hop Community or MustBeat, the Italian producer leaves no doubt behind that he's one to pay attention to - just like this free download here now, he's funky, vibrating and engaging.

This EP is the biggest hamburger you&rsquo;ve ever had! We hope you do mind; don&rsquo;t you? The drums are as fat as a meat patty, the basslines are spicy and juicy while diverse and colourful synth-melodies hit like a fresh salad. All in all, Mr. Ours has just finally fully arrived to Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and we think, this EP is definitely something you shall consider consuming.
The beat bear he is, our French producer has made a thorough work. As he usually does with many of his songs, he was inviting fellow contemporary artists again to create this EP together... "Don't You Mind" EP sees Proleter co-writing the tune called 'Feeling Hot' - applying it with a hard swing edge. The title track is featuring MC Shurshock which is the very first collab of this duo formation resulting in a big room dubstep roots banger. The rest of the EP, with tunes like "Dolphin Dance" and "Drop It", serves a proper bass heavy modern funk environment - giving quality glitch-hop and breezy ghetto-funk a big high-five. Having delivered a powerful drum'n'bass tune to BBP's Powerhour Free Download Series last month, this EP is a perfect follow up of Mr. Ours to continue his way on Breakbeat Paradise Recordings.

Sand Castles was created long time ago and waited for its perfect time to be released. The track is based around the vibe of that 2010s deep house style including the main phrase “Building sand castles in the rain yet my memories don’t fade” meaning that the author tries to forget the past yet it is really hard because some memories left scars so deep that they will stay as a reminder forever.

Hailing from Birmingham UK with an innovative style called "Swing with the Big Bass Sound", his DJ sets are about mashing it up and having fun, bringing you Electro Swing & Vintage Remix with aspects of Turntablism, DnB, House, Hip Hop, Dubstep & whatever else fits into the melting pot.  

He is also Director at Ragtime Records alongside Tom ESC (Electric Swing Circus) & Duke Skellington (Vaude Villainz).  His releases have seen him getting a number of Spotify editorial playlistings (including a no.1 spot), tracks in the top 10 on Beatport, and his remix of 'Swingin' Together' has been featured on no less than 3 best of Electro Swing compilations. As well as producing music for Ragtime Records, he has also had releases on Freshly Squeezed, Pedigree Cuts, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Ton Liebt Klang, & Greenqueen Music.   

Since 2012, his music has secured him gigs at the most exciting UK Festivals including Boomtown, Shambala, Secret Garden Party & Glastonbury; as well as seeing him playing gigs all across Europe, and further afield including UAE & Thailand.
