C-J (also known as Chris Jones) is an alternative rock artist who first picked up a guitar at the age of 13. He grew up listening to heavier bands such as Led Zeppelin & The Darkness, later taking inspiration from artists such as Jeff Buckley, Mumford & Sons, Snow Patrol & The National. The influence of all these heroes can be heard in his passionate yet precise guitar sound and songwriting.

After a spell at music college in London Chris spent years as a gigging guitarist. During the Covid-19 pandemic he started writing and recording original demos in his small garage studio. After creating more than 20 songs in the space of a few months he teamed up for live shows with school friend Rich on bass and Chuddy on drums. 'I had no expectations of these songs when I started, I wasn't looking beyond the walls of my freezing cold garage'. But if you like evocative, sweetly nostalgic rock songs,  C-J is definitely worth a listen...
