Every now and again, one of those gigs comes around and you’re like “Holly hell… that’s everyone I ever wanted, UNDER ONE ROOF!”. For me this was it… I’ve wanted to see Mantzur this side of the globe for YEARS, and after Rainbow 2013 with that unforgettable Mad Monday with Eelke and Guy J – getting them together for one night was like heaven.

It was a huge privilege to open the main room and warm up for Mantzur, I tried to keep things proggy, but with some interesting twists. Not only did he absolutely kill it, he was a absolute gentleman and a pleasure to hang out with. It really is wonderful to find out that the artists you love are also equally as awesome humans.

Guy J then brought the noise with an incredible set, the perfect warm up to Rainbow. Eelke Kleijn finished the night up in style, gluing us all to the dancefloor till sunrise… even letting me get a few sneaky tracks b2b with him at the end ;)

A huge thank you to Darkbeat and Rainbow Serpent Festival for having me on board, it really was a special night and one I won’t forget in a hurry!
