Kris Lee takes over Episode 51 for Rapture Radio this week. We are delighted to have Hungarian born, Zurich based dj, and founder of BEKOOL series, @curtiss as our narrator for this week's episode.

Curtiss have been working as a DJ and promoter since 2008 when he organised parties in Hungary. In 2010 he became a resident DJ in the Bora Bora Lounge in Dunaujvaros and he also opened two night clubs in Dunaujvaros and Siofok in 2010 and 2011.
Later in 2012 he moved to Switzerland where he played some big clubs such as Jack Club in Bern, Club Sleepless in Aarau and 696 Club in Zurich and in 2014 he was contracted as a resident DJ in the Terrasse Bar in Zurich.
His passion for electronic music lead him to create BEKOOL series, which is one of the most promising music concepts in Zurich and which is broadcasted on Radiodeep.net.

Music was very important to me as a child.
First of all hang up because of the love of music and for the lovers of electronic music.
For me it is very important to animate the party people to dance and to steadily increase them to bring my tracks to a boil on the dance floor.

We are beyond ecstatic to share with the world one of our favorite EP's from the Amsterdam duo, Broj.

Casper Jansen and Benjamin Brommer have only been creating music for a handful of years but come with a sophisticated sound that only some veteran musicians are able to freely express. Their four-track EP "Daydream" marks their debut on the label and proudly showcases their musical prowess.

"The Unknown" kicks off the tracklist led by its dreamy arrangement of strings, hypnotizing vocals, and a very charismatic off-center drum programming.

The second track "Old Days" picks up the tempo slightly and develops its storytelling behind a captivating piano melody and it's emotive string arrangements. A sure-fire dance floor mood setter for early sets.

The title track "Daydream" is a storytelling journey through space, time, and everything in between. The feeling of not being able to differentiate what's real and what's not is somehow comforting. It's hard to describe this song with words, emotions run high with every listen.

"Maroodi" closes the EP driven by a mystical chant that surrounds itself around an acoustic evolution of crisp analog synths, playful wind instruments, and spatial guitar riffs. The perfect way to close this musical chapter.

We expect to hear more quality electronic music from Broj in the near future.

This month’s full moon is the Wolf Moon. Again!

In the 1930's the Maine Farmer's Almanac began publishing "Indian" Moon names for each month of the year. These names have become popular and widely known. The original source of these names is not completely clear, with some indication they came from the Algonquin language as adapted by colonial Americans. In past Moon Missives I've used these Moon names by where they are in the seasons rather than by month, as I thought it likely to be closer to the original tradition (especially if it predated widespread contact with Europeans). After more reading, I've decided to follow the more widely accepted use of these names by month. Probably neither is completely correct. From what I have learned about traditional names given to full Moons prior to the introduction of modern timekeeping, local leaders would usually decide on the name of the Moon based on conditions at the time. These cultures did not generally need calendars that specify exact dates far in advance. Full Moon names were used to describe and remember what happened in the past and to remind of what was likely to come in the near future. Also, there are many different Native American names for the full Moons.
