For our ninth mix we present to you @eivind-volum

This feels like a special one. Eivind recently released his debut solo album 'Ohms Love' with our friends over at HMD Records. It's a beatiful piece, consisting of seven tracks exploring meditative and melodic beat-free sounds as if it were directly sourced from mother nature. With experience and background from film composition, sound design and field recording, it's no wonder we're padling along to Vullum's synth pads to the beach of Canggu in a more harmonic state than before.

As an follow up Eivind have recorded a "inspirational" mix if you will, taking a slightly darker and mysterious turn than his album. Some parallels are clear though, with an explorative mindset to sounds, this mix also represents a variety of ambient sounds, electronic squibs, dramatic strings and dubby post-rave feels. Enjoy!

A couple months ago I started a project to turn my normal journaling process into a channel flipping experience! All the scratch work and raw ideas packaged together. I noticed I loved listening to all my nascent and unfinished ideas playing through my composition journals, so I decided all the new ones I would start making into a listening experience!
