Here’s a bit of a follow-up to our last song, “2 Minutes In A Car Wash”.

She had a little blue green Opel
With a short funny shift
She drove it everywhere
Never needed a lift

A radio with buttons
Some candy in her coat
A paperback of Burroughs
And a half-written note

Watch the barges roll on past

Leggende E Marinai is my love letter to Liguria, the land that shaped me. Growing up surrounded by the Mediterranean and the ancient stories whispered through these coastal towns, I felt compelled to translate our legends into music.
From 'Il Mostro Di Noli' - the monster that haunts our local folklore - to wandering through the 'Vicoli Di Genova' where every narrow alley holds secrets, each track captures a piece of my homeland's soul. 'La Bàzure' and 'La Menada' dive into our dialect and traditions, while 'Il Castello Dei Pirati' brings to life the pirate tales that echo along our shores.
'Figlio Che Non Ho' gets personal. I close with 'Le Foè di Triora,' honoring the witches of our mountain village, because Liguria's magic runs deeper than the sea.
This album is me trying to keep our stories alive through blues and folk, mixing the ancient with the contemporary. It's my way of ensuring these legends sail on,
