Alara sang a song (no click track, to pitch reference!) and sent it to me.  ("Sometimes, the fastest way to get there is to go slow...") 

I cut up her audio and added midi instruments...

She sang the song for me twice. Interestingly, the first time it was basically in B, the 2nd time she slips down more solidly into C. I follow this in the music.
