Siona Records head honcho Miss Monique returns with another emotive new cut, this time in collaboration with Cherry (UA) who also serves up a solo single. 

Miss Monique is the queen of progressive right now and proves that here with Plato. It is a deep and broody cut with dramatic drums and slick percussion all overlaid with mesmeric synths that bring light and rays of hope. Muza is then a Cherry(UA) solo cut with darker vibes and more menacing percussion. The synths again are sleek and futuristic and bring plenty of drama to the groove.

beGun from Barcelona lands in Sincopat putting the focus on the Kiribati islands (Pacific Ocean) as the next destination in this particular electronic music journey. This new work presents two tracks whose names, Kuria and Vostok, correspond to the two most remote capitals of the insular complex and also two of the places that are suffering the most from global warming, and may disappear in the coming decades because of the continuous rise in sea level. In the words of the same producer:

"The goal of aiming at that inhospitable place to a musical level is to be able to contribute my part in the awareness of the effects of climate change, because it would be very unfortunate that in 10 years those two songs are still there while the two towns who gave their names have disappeared from the map”.

With this EP, beGun broadens its own musical spectrum without neglecting its recognized and unique creative personality: always elegant, landscaping and porous in the face of ethnic references through the use of local folk instruments combined with complex rhythms, penetrating basses and atmospheres charged of melancholia. For the remixes, AFFKT gives his own vision of Kuria giving it more musicality with thicker and live synths. For the part we welcome the duo Brigado Crew, who offers a more massive Deep House remix but with a breakdown clearly emotional and vibrant.

Tone Depth already released a series of great and unique productions in 2018. When he sent this new track as a demo for fryhide originally, HOSH was completely blown away by it and couldn´t wait to play it out. On the plane, on the way to play a very important gig for him, he listened to the track while preparing and all of a sudden it made click and out of nowhere HOSH heard the „I Am Free” vocal from Johannes Brecht & Fetsum in his mind on top of the Tone Depth track. So he edited it right away, it became the highlight of his set and people started asking for it. A perfect match! After exchanging music with Solomun who fell in love with it as well he encouraged to release the „Free” version of the track on Diynamic with the vocal on top.

A chain of circumstances and everyone pulling together made this track possible and led to this very special version. Everyone involved is very emotionally attached to it, just as emotional as the track itself is.

Opening with a deep dream guitar and vocal haze, it whips the dancefloor away from your feet with the same grandeur of a magician pulling a table cloth from under a banquet served in crystal bowls and not so much spilling a drop. Then boom… In come those breakbeats and lift you higher and higher. Instant uplift, watches set to hug o’clock, goosebumping all the way back home. This one is special.

The remixes are, too; Tom Demac brings his absolute A game with a chunkier UK feel to the broken groove and a humungous, warm analog bassline, Edu translates it into a sensual tale of dark, misty four-by-fourplay while rising Italian duo Fideles close the show with a thumping warehouse shaking 3am special. Moody, pensive and uncurling in its sense of drama.
