Krummavísur (Raven's Verse) is an Icelandic nursery folk song. I sampled version of it sung by an Icelandic music ensemble Voces Thules and turned it into a trappy tune.

This track features a 1927 song originally performed by Isa Kremer, telling a story of deceived love. Born in 1882 in Moldova, Kremer rose to fame in the Russian Empire as an operetta singer before emigrating to France after the Revolution, and later to the United States and Argentina. During World War II, she continued performing in Argentina—at a time when its government was covertly sympathetic to the Nazis—donating all concert proceeds to support the Allied cause.
