Welcome to MyProfile! 🥰 My name is Marisa Nicole and I’m 27 years old. I’m from Buffalo, New York. I am a R&B POP artist/ singer, songwriter. I came up with my stage name by just putting my first and middle name together. Nothing to exquisite. When I was younger I was in the church choir not by choice but by force, I didn’t mind but it was okay. I never planned on pursuing a music career, but everyone around me was always like , “oh you have a beautiful voice” etc. but I never really paid attention to it until I got around 17 years old. That’s when I decided hey, I should do something with this voice that God gave me. So I decided to pursue a music career. I started off singing with a friend. We called ourselves “marienicole” . Things with us didn’t last long ,we ended up breaking up and going our separate ways. We’re still cool , we just don’t sing together anymore. But anyways, she would do most of the writing for our music and I would write only a little bit because I wasnt good at writing. I was also kinda held back from doing what I really wanted to do with my voice because I felt as if I wasn’t “in charge” but knowing me I just kept quiet. After we went our separate ways I tried writing music. At first it was very hard for me because I didn’t know how to rhyme or what to write about. But as I wrote I got better and better , and that’s how I wrote my first song “Sucker For Love” my writing skills really show in that song. From there on I just became a beast at writing ! Like I would even surprise myself like whoa , I’m really good at this. After I released that song to the public, they showed so much love, they told me to “ keep going you have a great voice ,we love your music,  make more music!” So I did that, now I have like 25 songs written with just a few released. I  love singing, I love what I do, and I wouldn’t trade my talent for anything in the world. It’s what gets me by. I really thank God for blessing me with this gift. Now it’s time for the world to see what I can do.🥴🤞🏾
