Drawing her inspiration from slow jams of the 90s and early 2000s, C.N.M is a huge fan of artists such as Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, Jodeci, Keith Sweat, R. Kelly, Maxwell, Tyrese, TLC, SWV and especially 112 with their numerous hit songs. She specifically chose to sample and title the track “We Can Do It Anywhere” because R&B slow jams are songs you can literally listen to anywhere, from your bedroom, in a car, in the club and even with that special someone. 

Rudi makes a cameo appearance and laces this track with his incredible voice that is reminiscent of that era, bringing a nostalgic smooth and sexy vibe, and Tommy completes the trifecta by bringing his Saxophone into the mix as this trio showcases their musical tastes and style with a perfect rendition of this classic song. There is even a reference embedded in the lyrics to Aaliyah’s “Are You That Somebody?” which pays tribute to one of C.N.M’s signature events that share the same name indicating their love for this Golden Era of music.

Sampling classic R&B songs is a trend that is on the rise again, and “We Can Do It Anywhere” is just a small taste of things to come as C.N.M plans to release several more tracks that sample and pay homage to other R&B classics early next year, so be on the lookout!

C.N.M, originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, began her DJ career at the young age of 13 in 2003 in the R&B, Hip-Hop, and House scenes. In 2006, she took a brief hiatus to pursue extensive musical training, including courses in singing, piano, saxophone, and violin, further enriching her skills. Her passion for music was inspired by her late parents' diverse tastes.

In 2010, she moved to Perth, Australia and made a comeback in 2014. Since her international debut in New York the same year, she has performed in numerous countries, including the Netherlands, France, Italy, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Australia.

Her sets pack a wide range of genres: Classic sounds, Soulful/Jazzy vibes, Slow Jams/R&B, Hip-Hop, Dancehall/Reggaeton, Afrobeat/Afro-house, Amapiano, Merengue, Indie, House, UK/2-step, Jersey Club, and anything else she thinks would work the dance floor.
