‘For home use only’ is an anti-club social, a chance to get to know someone/something. A series of transmissions purely dedicated to exploring the other side.

What’s good, good people? Doesn’t it feel nice to be slowly transitioning back towards a sense of normality? Yes, yes it does. Do I have the perfect accompaniment for this shoulder state of mind? Yes, yes I do. Number 63 comes courtesy of Oz legend Biancolato aka Nick Whiteside. 

Nick has been around the traps for a few moons, a tidy list of productions and a DJ’ing resume that would get him almost any job, the Biancolato moniker is a recent excursion into a bit more intimate territory and damn does he do it well. I cannot stress this enough, THIS MIX SLAP’S (hard), oozing maturity and understanding beyond comprehension, it transcends any situation and directly dumps you into a good (great) mood. So many perfectly tempered tunes, meticulously pieced together to build the ideal ‘home’, and that's exactly what it is, a place to be comfortable, a place to feel safe, a place to share with your loved ones. This is the perfect embodiment of the series, a real chance to show and tell a different side. I've blasted this thing countless times over the past months and I can guarantee its freshness, welcome to your new soundtrack. I actually think he put it best into words (see below)

It’s the endless twilight of an adolescent summer, long, lazy hours poking rocks with sticks on warm afternoons and waiting for something to happen, like finding a blue-tongued lizard during a dust storm, perhaps.

It’s the comfort of familiarity; a sound, a scent, a snippet of melody that conjures a space in your mind, perhaps forgotten.

It’s a selection of music, of records. A soundtrack to a journey that may have already happened, or may be about to begin. Perhaps it involves distance, momentum. Perhaps inertia.

A journey can be soothing and fulfilling, rewarding, but also sometimes uncomfortable. Things happen, maybe unexpectedly. 

But by the end of the journey, by definition, you’ve arrived somewhere, even if that somewhere happens to be right back where you started from.

The time of the dreamers.
This mix is a dedication to falling deep down the rabbit hole, the tunnels of the night, the passion and vibrations that control.
Until the sun suddenly is about to glow like a galactic ember.

The set was recorded in these hours of new year 2022.
Unfortunately the recording was lost, so Ishtadi re-entered the hours.

The stupid season approaches with much haste, Bublè is being defrosted as we speak, Mariah is on her way back to earth, the turkeys are scared and Santa is shitting himself. Don’t forget the good that comes with all of it, I.e time off work, being too full for days on end, and that first dip in a cold body of water on a hot day. Amongst all the chaos, it's very important to take some time to completely wind down and zone out. To help with such a thing we’re going to let Acid Chess Club aka Benji aka the mayor of Melbourne take the wheel and drive for the next 5 hours (no destination required). 

You ever meet someone and just be like “damn, this cat knows what’s up!” Well, that’s how I felt when I met Benji, and I'm certain I'm not alone. If/when some extraterrestrial beings finally come to this god-forsaken planet, I'm gonna vote to put Benji forward to be the first contact and show em around town. I reckon they’re not too far away after hearing this mix… A smile that’s better than a hug, and a hug that’s better than a tray of perfectly roasted potatoes. Music is his game, in all forms, and he knows it inside and out; Responsible for all types of conceptual avenues to enjoy music, including various jaunts into the hosting realm under the umbrella of Crate Mates, Chewin The Fat, and Tesselate, all whilst having a firm grip on the DJ’ing thing and playing in the band San Of The Rambutan (TIP!) A man of much know-how and he’s only getting started. 

Hmmmmmm, damn, where to start? It’d probably be quicker to go through the bases that aren’t covered in this masterpiece, but I won’t. This is a big mountain to climb, but a stunning one at that. The scenery, the serenity, the flora and the fauna are all beautifully captured. Completely chock full of picturesque backdrops and stunning saturations, it reminds me of an album of photo highlights from the best trip you’ve ever had, a soundtracked slide show if you will. Every picture is worth a thousand notes, each one adding to the overarching narrative. Benji has done this series justice tenfold, in doing so making me even prouder to present such a thing. So without further adieu, chuck on your Solomons, fill up your butter sessions water bottle, and go conquer this beast.

This set is a recording from a special Bastard-Pop set by Alic (in Dub), recorded live at Aaltra, Chemnitz. It's hard to describe it with other music genres..., but the tunes are quite classy and showing the wide range of music styles Volker & Adam  are into, besides their label Digital Diamonds. They are also known for their solo projects Piece Of Acid, Adamson or Adam Andaluz.

Welcome to our 17th sceance, opening for the Fall and on the verge of a new era. This time we greet two new members to our ever growing circle of artists: OWL from Belgium and Klara Vedis from Skopje who both sent us their material after OZORA festival has taken place in august. They feature very different mixes that cover the full scale of what we like to call “Natural_Selection style.” Enjoy!

Klara Vedis started as a resident of the all-girl techno crew Code XX parties hosted at Kapan Han in 2015, and is responsible for some of the most forward thinking electronic sounds coming from Macedonia. She is growing as an artist, live performer and a beloved DJ that brings a special kind of emotional energy to every show. She contacted us after Ozora festival: she slept in the Dome every night and got inspired in her dreams by that vibe. That is how we knew she had something special to come up with. She finally created an eclectic, ambient and rythm infused trip that truly captivates the imagiantion. Please welcome Klara with her ambient project, Vedis.
