In this quiet land, a young boy observes the world with steady eyes, shaped by the harsh winters and ancient hills that hold centuries of memory. This is the landscape that forges Percival’s earliest sense of belonging.

Ruins and tower remnants stand scattered across the region, reminders of long struggles on the English–Scottish line. Young Percival grows up among these stones, hearing stories of raids, old loyalties, and the families who held the frontier. The land around him carries a weight of history, and he begins to understand that duty is not learned—it is inherited.
