Besides being one of the most popular upcoming DJs on the scene, Aslan Venom has already been a pillar for the underground community for a few years as an artist booker and event organizer. In his quest to provide free parties for all, he organized naughty raves in Berlin’s abandoned buildings and ingenious festivals in unique off-locations. Online he moves many ears and hearts with the fanciful sounding GOYA KEZD podcast series and recently founded the utopian network ₪ Deep House Organic ₪.

Conscious Journeys #16: Aslan Venom

Hamburg‘s Ryan Haeng is debuting on Heimlich Musik for the label‘s 22nd release, marking the producer‘s first-ever full-length EP. Get ready for five massive original cuts, plus remixes by Metatext & Karhua, Zoe Reijue, and Heimlich Musik veteran AVEM. 
The original cuts come with punchy bass drums and lurking basslines, giving new meaning to the word ‚dark‘. On the top end of the sonic spectrum, Ryan Haeng adds arpeggios, eclectic pads, and detuned synths for a unique touch, sprinkled with recorded instrumental samples.
Metatext & Karhua’s extended remix of ‚Bieroase‘ emphasizes the original‘s hyp-notic side with melancholic keys as the track‘s centerpiece, while Zoe Reijue’s interpretation of ‚Seidl‘ is built on powerful drums embedded in organic percussi-onwork and playful synth snippets. AVEM’s acid-inspired remix of ‚Raumschiff auf Rast‘ convinces with an intense build-up leading into a satisfying climax, combi-ning his unique trademark grooves with an underlying massive bassline const-ruct. Ryan Haeng’s debut on Heimlich comes with a bang that is much more than just a first lucky punch.

We are excited to share with you Doron's set from our last xXETEXx event at Mensch Meier Berlin. 
This amazing set blends various genres such as Tribal, Acid, and Melodic Techno, among others. It's so groovy that it's almost impossible to not dance! 🕺

Doron played for us this set on the alternative stage 'The Seed' from midnight until 2.30 am ...maybe you were there?!

And now for something completely different! My very first techno set!  

Ignition holds a very special place in my heart as it’s the place where I first stepped behind the DJ booth. It’s wild to think that it was also Paige Julia(?!) who initially showed me the ropes, and fast forward 3 years, here I am, playing a set right before her! Life's full of surprises.

Most of you will also know me for cruising in the slow lane, but let me warn you - this set is not for the faint hearted! When TechnOasis invited me for an exclusive techno night, I couldn't resist. It was like flipping through the pages of my early years in Berlin, selecting tracks that brought back waves of nostalgia. Thank you so much to each and every one of you that night. I was literally a nervous wreck hitting those BPMs in the 130s! (A personal best!). But the energy on that dance floor was electrifying and kept me going! Oosh that was some real power!  

There is only love to my TechnOasis and Ignition family for pouring their hearts into making this week unforgettable. The dedication and hard work everyone put in was truly remarkable. I’m looking forward to the next one!

When I was asked to play at @irgendwo-bremen, doubts rushed through my head, and it took me a bit to decide. I had spent so much time at that place, poured my heart into it, and made memories and friends, but still hadn't been there for 2.5 years. Coming back with many of those friends was a super precious moment. 

Playing a slot and music that were rather unusual for me was quite challenging, but it turned out to be a kool fit.
I was fortunate to see lots of familiar faces in the crowd, smiling and cheering me on. Thanks, my loves! 
Also, love to all the people who helped set up that wicked good outdoor club since 2017. If you visit Bremen, make sure to check it out. Last but not least, thänks to the actual crew for keeping the place alive and putting some finishing touches on it.

Finally I managed to record and upload a solo set..
Im Raulito one of the heads behind Lotenheim and Festival Nomade.
When they invited me to play at Sisyphos, I was told I can do what ever I want as I opened the Stage..
For me this felt like the golden ticket.
So as you hear I had quite some fun trying new things and combine music I wanted to mix for a long time.
