Next up on Othercide is the latest addition to the label roster - C-Netik - a name well known to followers of the hardest and darkest Drum & Bass, ventures once again outside of his and your comfort zone to blend his signature sounds and influences with otherwordly futuristic Hardcore and more, with Odyssey.

The title track, a collaboration with DJ Hidden, as well as 'Afterlife', are built to evoke emotions and visions of a bleak but mysterious future with plenty to discover and unfold. Seamlessly blending genres in proper cinematic style, with the full force of powerful basskicks and epic synthlines.

Two more tracks complete this EP, Infinite Corridor, a more adventurous take on the Technoid D&B subgenre, and Crooked Egos, a heavy stomper in collaboration with Dunats, bringing together pounding rhythms and deep elements of science fiction for a crazy ride worthy of a post-apocalyptic dancefloor.

SPIDER’s initial creeping rhythm grows in stature over its introduction, quickly becoming a brash arpeggiated lead that provides the springboard for the track’s primary aspect, a sharply edged bassline that moves to a funk fueled rhythm atop a torrent of percussion. The new decade has come hand in hand with a new danger. People need to be prepared and have the best weapons at hand for possible conflicts. The most devastating weapon that exists is the new release from duo called Noisecrew, coming from border between Moravia and Silesia.
First track - "Firepower" is the ultimate arp infused tool for the dancefloor. Next comes "Heading South" which is the laser accuracy sound massacre. Finalizing it with heinous collaboration with Slovak mercenary "Gorebug" called "Hydraulic Pumper". This group of 3 tracks should be named as weapons of mass destruction.

Dyslexia is a Russian duo (Anton Murashkevich & Ruslan Schastniy) whose love of technoid and techno influences brought them together in 2015. They draw their inspiration and ideas from founders of the genre such as Kemal, Rob Data, Raiden & Proket, starting out with a release on Free BPM which generated a wide and organic interest among listeners and colleagues.

This month's episode is bringing uncompromised dark drum and bass in your ears – we proudly present „Shadow Sect“(@shadowsectmusic)!

„Shadow Sect“ is a producer and DJ duo based in Italy, focussing on neurofunk and hard drum and bass. Coming from different musical backgrounds, they joined their forces to create a unique sound, including influences from hardcore, drum and bass, metal and experimental electronic music.

They first performed together in 2013 at a Therapy Session night in Italy, followed by several gigs in over twenty countries all around the world. After the release of their debut EP „Monsta“ on Close 2 Death Recordings, „Shadow Sect“ released various EP's on some of the most respected labels in dark drum and bass, including PRSPCT Recordings, Othercide Recordings, Future Sickness and many more. If that's not enough already, these releases included collaborations with artists like Hallucinator, Switch Technique and Dope D.O.D., only to name a few.

This mix perfectly displays their own musical vision and their ability to heat up every dancefloor with their energetic DJ-Sets. Stick around "Shadow Sect" and stay tuned for the next moves to come from this hellish duo!
