I just got back from the playa and I am exploding with excitement to share this set with you.  Without a doubt this was one of my favorite sets I've ever played.  The vibe was incredible...hugs and smiles littered the dance floor and the positivity was palpable.  Thank you to every single person that was there dancing and for those who weren't, I hope this set brings a smile to your face and warmth to your heart.  

The sun rises right about 40 minutes in....enjoy :)

 Here is the recording of my very first sunrise set at Burning Man 2018 in the Black Rock Desert. I started playing around 5:45 am, the lights and lasers were still glowing in the cold darkness of the night..as the songs were passing by, the sky turned blue and the horizon warmer. Burners were all facing the deep playa, waiting for the sun to appear. It was an honour to soundtrack this moment and share music in such a magical place. No matter how hard I try, words can barely describe the energy and emotions felt in that instant... I hope music can express it better. 

I'd like to thank Maxa Camp & The Gardens of Babylon for inviting me to play on this beautiful Xaman Art Car...the mystical blue deer.   I’m very grateful to have shared this moment with so many incredible souls, old and new friends.

Kora @ Burning Man 2018 [Sunrise Set on the Maxa Xaman]

Stoked to have had the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and play some different music for the infamous SubClub courtyard morning session. The vibes were high in the AM and Rabbit Taxi really laid down the perfect platform for me to explore my deeper side over the next 90 minutes. Big love to my Subsonic Music family for the ongoing support and unique experiences like this Winter morning that I won't forget for a long time!

The busy man that is Brad King aka Beandip takes us to episode 057, it has been a big 12 months for Beandip. Co founding his record label After Midnight Sounds & being an integral part of the doof lords Camp Paprika. Brad has been leading the charge in bringing a quality house & techno scene to Northen NSW & South East QLD with sold out warehouse parties & bumping festival theme camps. Not to mention he is a seriously good selector & has weaved his magic on dance floors such as Splendour In The Grass, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Mountain Sounds Festival, Lost Paradise & slew of the local parties & spaces. Coming up for him is a Camp Paprika theme camp at Modifyre (Regional QLDs Burn), a monthly club night & more of their succesful warehouse series Al Dente. For this mix he has delvered an hour of groovy rollers with a slick precision, some absolute gems from start to finish.. Enjoy the ride.

Instalment 058 comes from a member of one of Sydney's most notorious party collectives Conspiracy, Mr Jad Hammerson. Jad is the man behind the wild builds & decor at the Conspiracy parties, Sub Club, The River Stage at Subsonic  & the Lost Worlds stage at Lost Paradise. Not only a whizz on the tools, Jad is a serious selector. His talent hasn't gone unnoticed & has seen him play Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Mountain Sounds, Lost Paradise festivals & some of Sydneys top club nights in We Love, Sub Club & of course the infamous Conspiracy events. This mix is a lush blend of vinyl & digital grooves from his collection selected with precision & class.. Absolutely loving this one!

For this edition we welcome Central Coast local Aaron King. Aaron along with his brother Luke were exposed to electronic music at a young age with their father being a DJ, following in his footsteps the brothers formed their duo Kingdoms in 2017. Aaron also plays solo under his own name as well as working on his own production. Leaning more towards the minimal side of house & techno Aaron has been building his vinyl collection as well as perfecting his craft. This mix is a collection of vinyl & digital tracks showing his keen ear & impeccable selections.

For this edition we welcome London based Dj / Producer CK.  A lover of all things Hip Hop in his earlier years, CK's musical taste shifted around 2012 after attending clubbing institutions Fabric London & Romania's Space Club. He soon took Dj & Production courses at Subbass Dj Academy in London, a year later CK won EDC London, Movida Corona UK & Amnesia Ibiza DJ Competitions. Soon followed his first release on UK imprint Subbass & over the next few years releasing on various labels, including Wiggle, Groove Terminal & Be Color and also runs the podcast platform DEEP MVMT. For this mix CK has put together an hour of deep & hypnotic grooves, selected with precision.

For the last edition of 2019 we welcome back our good friend & CABAL resident Brodriguez for his second edition to the podcast. Since making the move to Europe/UK over a year ago Brodes has focused on refining his sound & working on his production skills. This hard work saw him win a slot at Defected Croatia & he impressed so much that he has been invited back for next years festival. This is a mix of old & new cuts from his digital & vinyl collection & really displays how far Brodes has grown as a selector. Enjoy.

First surfacing circa 2014, CABAL began with a run of warehouse parties to fill the void of House & Techno events in their hometown on the NSW Central Coast. From here the brand evolved building a community of both artists & friends who have all helped shape what the brand has become.

The CABAL collective have had the pleasure of locking down plenty of support slots & residencies close to home while venturing into Sydney & Newcastle for various events. Regularly playing host to launch parties for iconic brands such as Subsonic Music & Rabbits Eat Lettuce, the boys have also landed back-to-back slots at Mountain Sounds Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Subsonic Music Festival. 

Looking for further ways to share their love and taste for good music, their CABAL & Friends Podcast Series was born. Focused on delivering carefully curated mixtapes from  meticulously sourced local & international selectors, the series has seen inclusions from some of the finest locals Australia has to offer whilst also receiving stellar inclusions from artists from Germany, UK, Portugal, Russia and the US.
