Desde la capital lokombiana de los ritmos rápidos, Aleroj y CRRDR se unen por primera vez en una entrega muy esperada para su sello discográfico Muakk, dando origen a un EP lleno de guaracha rápida y club tools bajo un concepto único. Es aquí donde se presenta la consolidación de una exploración del Latin Tek con otras influencias de la música electrónica sudamericana.

En este lanzamiento se presentan como los Godfathers of Uwuaracha; el dúo de artistas se inmersa en una narrativa satírica frente a la temática del “Mafia Boss” y encuentran en este EP un sonido rápido y característico de ambos. La cultura memética colombiana tuvo un hijx con los BPMs rápidos y kicks sólidos.

Dentro del EP hay 7 temas originales y un Bonus Track exclusivo de Bandcamp creado por ambos productores.

En el arte se encuentra una colaboración con el artista mexicano Mextasis, quien dentro de su rubro es un referente del arte visual de vanguardia en México, además de un trabajo fotográfico y audiovisual por la artista colombo-panameña Nirvana Daze.

From the Colombian capital of the Latin Core Rhythms, Aleroj and CRRDR come together for the first time in a very special release for their record label Muakk, giving birth to an EP full of fast guaracha and club tools under a unique concept. It is here where the consolidation of an exploration of Latin Tek with other influences of South American electronic music is presented.

In this release they present themselves as the Godfathers of Uwuaracha; the duo of artists immerses themselves in a satirical narrative against the "Mafia Boss" theme and find in this EP a fast and characteristic sound of both of them. Colombian meme culture had a child with high BPMs and solid kicks.

Within the EP are 8 original tracks created by both producers.

In the artwork there is a collaboration with Mexican artist Mextasis, who within his field is a reference of avant-garde visual art in Mexico, as well as photographic and audiovisual work by the Colombian-Panamanian Nirvana Daze.

“El sonido de Caballito refleja el calor, la alegría, las raíces, las ganas de mover el culo, el sudor, la buena onda...”
Caballito da a luz en una cálida Granada en septiembre de 2010, fruto del reencuentro entre Bigote y Grita, dos auténticos exploradores y recicladores de los ritmos latinoamericanos.
Pioneros en nuestro país en esta corriente ElecTropical que poco a poco va invadiendo todo el globo, empiezan sus andadas publicando varias mixtapes en su propia web y en distintos blogs del subterráneo movimiento. Pronto decidirían ilustrar sus mezclas con una explosión de gifs animados, vídeos y colores estridentes y muy chillones (creados por ellos, son también apasionados de la imagen), creando así un entorno psicodélico, divertido y uniforme. Fue entonces cuando Grita y Bigote decidieron lanzarse a la producción estableciendo su propio netlabel, siguiendo la línea de la licencia libre (Creative Commons). De esta forma, todo lo publicado en Caballito, ya sean producciones suyas o de otros artistas, fluye libremente por la red.

Caballito is born in Granada, in September 2010, when Daniel aka Bigote and David aka Grita meet again. It was a while since these two guys were checking out traditional Latino-American rhythms and discovering the Digital Cumbia, new Tropical style emerging all around the world.
Caballito, pioneer in our Country within this musical current, started publishing mixtapes in his own web and in different blogs, with the intention of breaking our hips. But quickly this world was too small for them, so they started to flood us with videos and psychedelic gifs. Was at that time when Grita y Bigote jumped into production creating their own netlabel, whose phylosophy follow the free licence idea. All the stuff published - their own productions and the collaborators’ ones - all flow freely through the web.
