The follow up EP to Yellow Claw’s epic Jeffree’s debut, Amsterdam Twerk Music cleans up your definition of “dirty” just so they can strip it down to booty claps and bass rolls. The first track, “DJ Turn It Up” is a subtle dance floor anthem reminiscent of the heavy bass from your nostalgic middle school days of grinding to timeless hip-hop anthems.

On the second track, Yellow Claw teams up with Tropkillaz and The Kemist to bring us “Assets,” a track that twists its vocals in a way that winds through the most bass-hungry, whimsical quarter of your imagination. “P*$$YRICH feat. Adje” then transports you deeper into Yellow Claw’s bass dungeon, leaving its victims up against the walls bumping and grinding till sunrise.

Amsterdam Twerk Music concludes with “Slow Down”, an addictive baseline paired with a jock-jams reminiscent hook. Yellow Claw are the tastemakers of guilty pleasure. But lets be honest… there’s no guilt attached to the obsession.

"WACHA” is @talistotalisto ’s new single and an homage to the South American Cumbia. It is inspired by childhood memories of growing up in Southern Chile during the late ‘90s and the sounds of that environment: the mechanical noises from the factory nearby, the Argentinian neighbor’s sound system rattling the windows with bailanta (predecessor of the cumbia villera), home-recorded cassette tapes maxed out with synthpop, punk or those Kraftwerk’s melodies used as jingles by local radio stations. “Wacha” pays also tribute to the Chilean “Cumbia Sound”, faster and with digital synthesizers emulating Andean instruments.

“WACHA” es el nuevo single de Talisto y es un homenaje a la Cumbia del fin del mundo. Está inspirada en recuerdos de infancia creciendo en el Sur de Chile en los ‘90s y los sonidos de su entorno: los ruidos mecánicos de la fábrica del barrio, los parlantes de su vecino argentino rompiendo los bajos con bailanta baila (precursor de la cumbia villera), casetes caseros grabados a tope con synthpop, punk o esas melodías de Kraftwerk que usaban las radios locales para cortinas de programas. “Wacha” es también un tributo a la “Cumbia Sound” chilena, más rápida y con sintetizadores digitales emulando instrumentos andinos.

“El sonido de Caballito refleja el calor, la alegría, las raíces, las ganas de mover el culo, el sudor, la buena onda...”
Caballito da a luz en una cálida Granada en septiembre de 2010, fruto del reencuentro entre Bigote y Grita, dos auténticos exploradores y recicladores de los ritmos latinoamericanos.
Pioneros en nuestro país en esta corriente ElecTropical que poco a poco va invadiendo todo el globo, empiezan sus andadas publicando varias mixtapes en su propia web y en distintos blogs del subterráneo movimiento. Pronto decidirían ilustrar sus mezclas con una explosión de gifs animados, vídeos y colores estridentes y muy chillones (creados por ellos, son también apasionados de la imagen), creando así un entorno psicodélico, divertido y uniforme. Fue entonces cuando Grita y Bigote decidieron lanzarse a la producción estableciendo su propio netlabel, siguiendo la línea de la licencia libre (Creative Commons). De esta forma, todo lo publicado en Caballito, ya sean producciones suyas o de otros artistas, fluye libremente por la red.

Caballito is born in Granada, in September 2010, when Daniel aka Bigote and David aka Grita meet again. It was a while since these two guys were checking out traditional Latino-American rhythms and discovering the Digital Cumbia, new Tropical style emerging all around the world.
Caballito, pioneer in our Country within this musical current, started publishing mixtapes in his own web and in different blogs, with the intention of breaking our hips. But quickly this world was too small for them, so they started to flood us with videos and psychedelic gifs. Was at that time when Grita y Bigote jumped into production creating their own netlabel, whose phylosophy follow the free licence idea. All the stuff published - their own productions and the collaborators’ ones - all flow freely through the web.
