Following the tragic news that legendary US vocalist Kathy Brown is fighting stage 4 cancer, we wanted to give something back to an artist who musically we have all grown up with, and respect greatly. With that in mind, we have decided to release this record with all profits going to Kathy’s ‘GoFundMe’ campaign to help pay for her health care fees. All the original writers have allocated all publishing earnings, with the artists and Toolroom also pledging all of their royalties, in the quest to get Kathy back on the road to a full recovery. The record itself oozes fun and good times, which is what Kathy’s music has always been about. I recently listened again to one of my favorite electronic music albums from all time: Moby's Play (1994). Many of Moby's early songs used classic synthesizers and samples that almost sound LoFi but perfect for the melancholy and highly emotional tracks he created. I guess the feeling was still in my head when I started working on this track. This is an early version of a track I call 'Moby's Journey' in respect to that sound that inspired me when I created this House song. The Korg M1 piano really shines through and gives the song its 90s style while the more modern Serum bassline brings it to the 2020s.

Based in Düsseldorf, Germany,  cabara crafts a distinct strain of house music that drifts between deep minimalism and atmospheric experimentation. His productions resist easy classification—at times meditative, at times driving, but always rooted in mood over mainstream appeal. With a clear sense for sonic detail and emotional nuance, cabara creates immersive tracks that feel more like environments than songs. It's house music for the curious listener—subtle, spacious, and unconcerned with trends.
