I recently listened again to one of my favorite electronic music albums from all time: Moby's Play (1994). Many of Moby's early songs used classic synthesizers and samples that almost sound LoFi but perfect for the melancholy and highly emotional tracks he created. I guess the feeling was still in my head when I started working on this track. This is an early version of a track I call 'Moby's Journey' in respect to that sound that inspired me when I created this House song. The Korg M1 piano really shines through and gives the song its 90s style while the more modern Serum bassline brings it to the 2020s.
