Pavel ludin returns to Poker Flat Wax with a gripping four-tracker showcasing his myriad of talents. Born and raised in Eastern Siberia, Pavel Iudin found his way to the underground scenes of Moscow and Saint Petersburg where he firmly established his credentials. 

The Probe EP finds him at the height of his powers, serving up some serious burners. 'Probe 2' is a throbbing, deep roller with shimmering synths and a shuffling, evolving groove - one for keeping the floor on lock whatever the situation.

'Halo' has more classic feel to it, clearly a nod to the Chicago masters of the 90s, but maintaining a tough and fresh feel that is all ludin’s own. Half way though, things really open up into thick, swingy vibe via a killer bassline and snappy percussion.

'Probe 3' is more acidic outing - although never resorting to the iconic 303, the track is a lysergic journey into dubbed out tech house.

Closing out the EP is 'Groundlevel' - a driving, loopy groover that uses ludin’s feel for atmosphere and tension to the max. The whole EP exudes a steely-eyed mastery of the studio and the dancefloor - making Pavel Iudin one to watch over the next months.

On the flit side, “Diapason” is slightly deeper and jazzier, but yet with that distinctive and infectious groove signed DT.
“Passing Tone” is closing the ep nicely. Classy atmospheric textures and depth , a real treat for the after hours !

Paris based label Steppin’ Motion Records returns with its second release after the first pan out, with one and only Mihai Popescu. After its immense reach, part 2 of “Still 1 Measure EP” will be on the shelves on 03.09.2018. Mihai Popescu joins forces with Paris imprint once again with his deliberate cuts.

After the first release of the French label, young label boss Swoop aims to reach out peaceful souls of collector world with an outstanding work of Mihai Popescu once again.

Romanian tastemaker and architect MP is known for his elegant, convoluted and well-designed minimal cuts. His recent releases from heavyweight labels as Bass Culture, Metereze and RORA made him eavesdropped and followed throughout the world. His humble yet passionate approach to house music reached out through not only his releases but also his own label Soulsity.

In upcoming two-tracker “Still 1 Measure: Part 2” EP promises a minimal house cuts that could stay in a record bag for months for those who aims to disembark the chill vibes at peaceful sun-kissed sets.

On side A and for our premier, things set sail with great mixing of rich hi-hats combined with crisp claps on soulful and resonating pads. Great composition delivers a soulful and playful vibe that puts a peaceful smile on faces. Refined percussion on an unhurried yet spirited kicks convey a compelling journey for listeners.

Premiere: A - MP aka Mihai Popescu - Rum Drum [SMR002]

Two previous Laconica records were mentioned on Trommel Top100 and now we are finally back. 
After a short break, Ukrainian Lviv based label presents a powerful 4-tracker. This time we stamped on wax tunes which we tested on dance floors for quite some time. On A-side, label owner Alex Pervukhin drops a banger 'Thomas Jefferson' which you may have heard in IO (Mulen) sets. Classic MPC swing plus analog synths remind of that real tech-house feel that we all miss. 'Most People’ on A2 is a deep and sexy tune which will be perfect for warmups. 

Some different vibes on the flip side. Lviv's finest Ocean T creates a really magical atmosphere in 'Moving On', which will be perfect for euphoric moments of every set (we know it well because we played it for 2 years!). And final track is deep and trippy 'Breathe In' - the perfect ending of this EP.

Per Hammar, with Berlin and Malmö in the south of Sweden as territory, is the captain behind his labels Dirty Hands, 10YEARS and the club instance Kiloton. He teamed up with Maline Genie to produce a four-track EP which features three originals and S.A.M. reshape version. The release will be out as a vinyl-only via MGM at the end of April.

"Scania" holds a club orientated atmosphere based on strong groove, malicious drum pattern and spacious ambience. This track will definitely be perfect for those long club marathon sessions.
