UK-born artist Blackbond, also known as The Black Sicilian, began his journey as an MC performing at Garage and Drum & Bass events across the UK, Cyprus, and Spain. Raised in Handsworth, Birmingham, his lyrics have always drawn from raw, personal experience. Despite growing up surrounded by chaos, gangs, and violence, Blackbond managed to navigate through it with resilience and clarity.

His close relationship and collaboration with a Sicilian family for over a decade saw him inevitably relocate to Sicily in 2007,  joining “la famiglia“ on many business ventures. While there, he joined the former established rock band Mas-Nada, forming a unique rock/rap fusion. Together, they performed live and recorded eight original tracks.

Now, Blackbond is releasing previously unheard material over a decade old — and gearing up for his debut solo album, set to drop in  2025/26. Expect raw, unfiltered, and conscious lyricism as he steps back into the spotlight
