Cal Harris is a multifaceted artist, producer, audio engineer, and creative director based in Los Angeles. Originally from Oakland, CA, Cal’s musical foundation was shaped by his father’s deep collection of oldies and ‘90s hip-hop and R&B. Starting as a percussionist in school bands and orchestras, he naturally progressed into music production after discovering FL Studio. Through a youth-run music program, he honed his skills in engineering, songwriting, performance, and music business. Cal later attended Tuskegee University, gaining further exposure to Southern music and culture during the rise of trap. Upon returning to Oakland, he played a key role in his group’s development, leading to a record deal and national tour. Today, Cal works with a range of artists while continuing to release his own genre-blending music. His focus is now expanding into sync licensing and composing for film and television.
